Hey Maddyk- Thanks for asking. I was just about to post it.
Well, on my way there my cell phone rang and I didn't answer in time. It was XW. No message and I was about 10 minutes away so I didn't call back. When I arrived, just like normal someone else came to work on me. I just played it cool and didn't really pay much attention to XW. Several minutes into the appt. she came over and asked how I am doing, some other small talk which I actually don't even remember. She looked in my eyes, smiled at me, etc. I was the last one there and she left before me. Today I called her back to ask what she called for yesterday. It gave me a good excuse to call her without seeming desperate. She said that it was to make sure I remembered my appt. I bet you anything she was going to ask if she could work on me. Anyway, after that she asked what I am doing this weekend. I said that I have plans Saturday night, but that's it. She said she "may" call me to hang out and do something. She said she is really busy with school so she doesn't know. It's pretty funny how she can't commit to doing anything with me for sure. It's like she wants to but she is afraid of me. Who does that? Who asks what you are doing on the weekend and then says, well maybe we can hang out? It's weird. So that's it. We will see if she calls. Hmmm
The good thing about the appt. is that this time I was fine after. I didn't get upset like last time. Seeing her doesn't bother me anymore and even if she did work on me I don't think I would care. maybe I will let her next month.

Juke,
I'm glad the appointment went better this time. It means your getting better. I don't even know if I could do that.
She said she may call you to hang out? If she can't committ, you might not be available when she calls - if you get my drift. Maybe she thinks you'll just sit by the phone waiting.
I know you want to see her. And I am nobody to take advice from... .... but it might be a good idea to be busy if she calls. But goodness I know that would take some fortitude. On the outside it sounds good, but if I was wearing your skin ... I might not be able to do it.
Wishing you the kind of life you've earned Juke.

Yikes did I say that...
quote:
but if I was wearing your skin ...

I didn't mean that in a "Silence of the Lambs" kind of way.

juke,
I still think you are doing yourself a GREAT disservice by using every excuse to contact her again. I believe it was a BIG mistake to call her " to see what she called me for".
Your ex is no dummy. She uses these episodes to feed her sense security( as being dutifully and easily offered by YOU). When you reply, answer, get involved on every made up contact, you show her that she can have you back WHENEVER SHE WANTS. You may argue that last point but you know it is true.

Cymanca - you have a thicker skin than I. I just didn't want to seem like I was blowing her off. If I don't answer her calls why would she call again? i wouldn't want to be treated that way. That's the way I thought about it, but you are probably right. I am not going to argue that last point you are right. On the other hand, isn't it good for me to show that I am stable and haven't changed who I am? I think blowing her off at this point is a love bust as she has said how sorry she is etc. I may be wrong though.

Cymanca- I also heard a story of a fellow man from here who's WW actually wanted to come home when she started acting nice again etc. He didn't know what her deal was and blew her off went on with his life etc. She later told him that all she wanted was for him to be there for her and she really did want to come home, but she felt like he didn't want her anymore, she had messed things up too much etc. I fear that happening in my situation. It is a fine line that we walk with these women.
