I don't know why but I am feeling sad today. My wife has been staying with a divorced female friend for over a week now. I am doing a little fix up job for this friend and get bits of information but I don't ask. I was told they are going car shopping tonight. I guess that means that OM is buying her a car. I offerred to help her get a car but she declined.
Youngest son is home from college for the weekend on fall break. She call me just a minute and asked did I have transportation for son to get to the dentist. I said I've got it covered. She hung up without a goodbye or "kiss my [censored]".
Why am I fretting over a woman like this. A woman so changed that she would forsake her vows, her family and her husband. I am still sad at the thought of ending this marriage. I married for life or so I thought.
Just a bad day. I will not go back on my boundaries of no other man in my life. She can't live with me and be involved with OM.

Hang in there HINNC, hang in there.

I also am waiting for my WW to come out of the fog and return to our M (although she is also getting over the fact that I was a WH too, so I'm doubly troubled).

The best thing about this method of Plan A/B, being patient and loving and setting boundaries...

If she is in fact gone for good, you will be able to hold your head up and say "I did the right thing by trying to work it out and she made her choice." You will be able to live with yourself and be stronger than she will ever be again.

Remember, this is more about YOU than it is about HER.

Believe me...I'm trying to convince myself of the same thing....

Thanks for your eplies and prayers. I still have my children even though they are grown they provide a lot of support. I just have to keep breathing and putting one foot in front of the other.

hopeful - Of course you are very sad. You thought you would stay married for life. And you may still do that. So don't give up.

That being said, it is a big adjustment going from being married to being by yourself, and it takes some getting used to. But I still think you may find it pleasant, once you get used to it, and start enjoying life again.

So don't despair, it WILL get better.
