Believer - It may do that. I guess right now I have to see if that's what I would want. Probably will be. I've got this darn stubborn/honest/beliving-in-oaths thing going on. Once I'm not so mad and hurt and....mad.

4:00 just came and he said he's not coming home. He's not going to Texas either. He's going on a road trip.

I had made it pretty clear to him that his one chance was to come home TONIGHT. I never told him I was pulling that off the table, I wanted to see what he'd do. Well, I guess all that "listening" and "understanding" I was doing earlier was mistaken for "rolling over".

He said, "I really want to do this road trip for myself. But {quieter, whinyish voice} can we keep talking like we were earlier?

No.

"What?! You're not going to talk to me?"

No.

"Did you say no."

"Goodbye."

Click.

Phone's been ringing off the hook every two seconds the last 13 minutes.

We're going to Costco. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Call the credit card companies and report his cards stolen. Let him see if little OW is keen enough to have her honeymoon with him that she's willing to pay for it.

I've also considered reporting the pick up stolen as it is in my name.

One thing BS' hate is when the WS uses the family credit to support the A. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" />

faithinme: I admire your sense of humor amid all this chaos. Your threads are making me smile, often...not at your situation of course, but at your hillarious quips.

You really have to think hard, do you really want this guy in your life? I know, you love him...but sometimes we love the wrong guy. Your guy is messing up real bad. Like a prior poster, I am really p'ssed at him for telling the kids that he was not leaving the family. To say that, and then behave in a manner which, if caught, would likely cause his expulsion from the family, is selfish and cruel (and you can tell him I said that).

Keep up your sense of humour, but keep considering your options. I think there is MUCH more out there for you than this "cheatin heart".

FIM,

You made me laugh so hard I almost fell out of my chair. But more importantly you give me strength to follow your lead.

Thanks!

Wonder what ever happened to Lorena Bobbitt...

I'm so sorry... You deserve so much better than this. I think times is up. This is his second affair and what he's doing to you is beyond abuse.

Please cancel the credit cards and don't forget the debit cards. He could wipe your checking account out. I don't know about reporting the car stolen. It's not a good thing to file a false claim since you do know he has the car. You might want to call the local police station and discuss it with them.

I am anxious to hear what her commanding officer says. His family and her family need to know what he's done too. It's beyond hardball time..it's nutcracker time...

Dork.

Even before I read the thread about calling the credit card companies about stolen cards, I thought to recommend to you to empty you bank accounts and start new ones in you name only.

Plan B, Plan B, Plan B.

Go dark, dark, dark.

You don't need this crap and he needs the full dose of being cut off.

Cut him off. You can have SOOOOO much more impact than Lorena Bobbit.

You have his home, his kids, and his security clearance - his "anatomy" - in your hands.

For any newbies reading, or TOW devotees, I'm not talking about revenge here. I'm talking about consequences of his decisions. Play the role, pay the toll.

Seriously, FIM. Go dark as in a Plan B. Don't fret the letter part for now. Don't answer the phone.

Stop talking to him. You are too angry and hurt right now. The ball is in your court. You caught him in a big lie.

I do think your husband meant what he was saying. But he is just like an "addict", needing his fix. So he is untrustworthy right now.

Gol darn it! Yes! Clean out the cash accounts and open up ones in your name only. Cancel the credit cards (hope he has cash for gas to get home!). Change the locks. Stow yourself away, out of his reach.

He'll miss you all right. And he didn't need to go to SAT, the Grand Canyon, or into OW's arms to do it! Dork.

You deserve a break FiM. Plan B will give you that. (((((HUGS)))))).

You know what? I have always believed in God. I never needed proof.

So, it seems odd that today of all days would be the day it is provided to me.

We just got home and there's a message from Dork on the machine. It seems he's got himself a broken down pick up in Eureka, CA.

Can you beat breaking down in Eureka while on your way to visit OW???

Oh....if I smoked...I'd need a cigarette right now!!

Be careful, faith.

Broken down?

Maybe.

Maybe not.

Strange things happen up in orbit.

Yeah, I've considered he very may well be lying about this.

I'm not believing anything he has to say right now.

I'm not calling him to find out either!

But...I love the thought still!

Please stay dark and do not deny him the opportunity to to feel some isolation.

Broken down? Oh well! Will OW rescue him? Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, he will NOT have his family.

Take it from me. No family for a noble man is no life. If he chooses this path, he's no man.

Stay dark. If he left at 8:00 this morning, and drove straight through, he could be in Eureka. Dang, sorry he didn't make it to San Diego. I would go pick his [censored] up.

Let's see, who lives near Eurika?

Of course, this may be one more lie. What you need to do is stay very dark. Don't answer the phone.

I think the broken down truck is another delaying tactic. You gave him a time frame to get back and he's just thought of another lie to enable his trip to OW.

What is it with us BS's that we put up with such crap? Won't life be dull when all the drama is over. I really think you need to stop communicating and not be there when he does come crawling back (cos he will, that is 100% sure). Is there anywhere you can spend a few days without his knowledge. It is inexcusable to declare to his children he is staying and then go immediately to see OW. He's got the mindset of a lying little 5 yr old at the moment. Wishing you only the best, TT. (I also have a problem with the vows thing - feel like I am a sinner cos I want out yet he was the one who had the A).

I'm smelling a rat too faithinme. This is his way of being able to say to you, down the line..."me and OW did NOT get together on that trip...remember honey, I missed YOU too much, I wanted YOU...I made a mistake letting her get on that plane, but I didn't meet up with her...HONEST!!!"

Don't call him to find out if you don't want to, but I'd do some checking around. As said above, check the credit cards....for starters.

Now, why don't you have a voice-activated recorder in his car...so you can hear his side of any cell phone conversations with her. You'd likely get closer to the truth that way, rather than depending on his "word".

Someday, FiM, when he he is truly back here on earth and all of his f*uckery far behind him, you should have him read this thread (heck, all of your threads) and ask him, "Now, honey, did you really think I would BELIEVE the truck broke down in Eureka?!!"

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Don't answer the phone. Doesn't seem like there is anything left to say right now.
