Looks like the babysitters aren't going to pan out this weekend. H is working Friday and Saturday nights at his cousin's bar- which means he won't be home until 4 am- and will sleep to 12 noon both Sat. and Sunday. We have 3 kids (7,5 and 2) running around. However, I am desperate to get this A started.

Any suggestions?

i have kids around hte same age (9,7, 1.5) and its hard when they are around. we just had a house built and we put our master bedroom on the 1st floor for our privacy....anyway.....its still not that private...

try this...
put the kiddes to bed and you go to bed as well. Set your clock for about 2am and then start the "a".

get alot of votive candles....make a path of lit candles that leads from house entrance to your bedroom. along the way leave notes that instruct him on what to do. at each note you can leave a little treat (drink, chips) anything he would enjoy....make the notes as wild or as mild as you want....leave hints of things to come (lingere, oils, shaving cream?...etc).....at the bedroom door leave a large snack or meal and a note that says...."you can eat this and enjoy it or you can pass on it and eat whats behind door number 2"....

you know hes tired so treat it as a night of peace instead of wild monkey love. you can offer him a hot bath or hot love....or both....at that point let nature takes its course....

The point is to build anticipation with the notes....make each note be an admiriation of your renewed love....

damm this all sounds too good...i think ill do it....

dont know where it came from cause i never did anything like that.....maybe it what i would like ..... secretly....

any way.....another idea is what i call a tree of recovery....

take a small xmass tree and put it in your bedroom.....take little notes and fold and attach to tree as ornaments. on each ornament write an activity that you both can do.....he gets to pick from the tree once a night or once a week or whenever....or you can make bets on ..... like once ww and i were watching golf on tv and (we have tivo) so as a buy was putting i paused the tv and bet her that the put would go in....i bet her a pick on the tree.....pressed play and i won....i think it was a massage and a bath.....

make the ornaments as wild or as mild as you want. one ornament said "make me a grilled cheese sandwhich".

this was an idea i found for the tweleve days of xmass....i had a not on the tree for each of the 12 days and each night she got to pick a note and that would dictate which gift she got that night...you get the picture.
