I know that many of you may not feel that you have the capacity right now to attend to reading. However, I will share a couple of books which I have found to be extremely helpful in my understanding of my situation and recovery.
They are: LOVE AFFAIRS:MARRIAGE AND INFIDELITY by RICHARD TAYLOR JENNIFER FEVER: OLDER MEN, YOUNGER WOMEN by BARBARA GORDON, THE PROPER CARE AND FEEDING OF HUSBANDS by LAURA SCHELESSINGER-good info. for PLAN A and THE FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES by GARY CHAPMAN.

Besides Dr. Harley's books, Torn Assunder by Dave Carder and Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas are also good.
Reading Dr. Laura's companion book called Woman Power. Keep you posted on that.

I second the recommendation for "Torn Asunder" by Carder. I also highly recommend "Love Must Be Tough" by Dobson.
Good idea for a thread!

I agree with the helpfulness of LOVE MUST BE TOUGH for the early stages. I did not find Torn Asunder to be as helpful to me.
Lately, I've really wanted to understand the dynamics of an affair from all perspectives.

The book for me that showed me how neglectful and selfish I had been in our marriage, was The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands by Dr. Laura. I am reading the companion book called Woman Power. Anybody read these and what did you think?
