Hi all:

has anyone of you seen "Shall we dance"?

From the previews it is not clear to me if there is A-related stuff in that movie. I'd love to go see it with H ('cause we have been taking dance lessons since January...we can do a pretty mean tango by now ...think along the lines of "Scent of a woman" Al Pacino)

But what is the relationship in that movie of Lopez and Gere??? I don't want to spend 11$ just to watch 2 hrs of EA/PA/whatever stuff.

So, is it thumbs up or down for this movie?

Okay, IP, I think the movie looks great also. Isn't a shame that we can't even go to a movie now, without having to screen it first. UGH!!

I just read up on it. RG, is taken by JLo, by looking at her everyday in through a window in her dance studio. He decides to take lessons, I gather to get to know her. She firmly sets the boundaries. He falls in love with dance, and rejuvenates himself with the dance and finds new passion for his life. So, it doesn't sound like an EA even takes place.

His W, however the entire time, thinks he is having an A, she hires a detective to find out his secret.

That is what I got from the synopsis of the film.

I'm guessing parts could be touchy. How about you go first, then tell me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> J/K

Sounds awful to me. I don't even like PRETTY WOMAN anymore and he wasn't married in that movie.

Of course, my FWH had an A with a downtrodden, young OW, whom he saw himself as rescuing from her lowly life.
