Do you think that insisting my SO sing this song to me this weekend while wearing a black thong would be a DJ? Now he is 6'6" tall and well over 200 lbs, but he does have a nice voice. He won't dance with me but I've been thinking that everyone should get to have their SO sing the song of their choice during a romantic interlude at least once. In fact I am going to insist on this, just to have some fun. Don't you think it would be nice if he would accomodate me?

The song I am going to request -

Artist: Edwin McCain Lyrics
Song: I'll Be Lyrics

The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful
Stop me and steal my breath
Emeralds from mountains thrust toward the sky
Never revealing their depth
Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated
I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above

(Chorus:)
I'll be your crying shoulder
I'll be love suicide
I'll be better when I'm older
I'll be the greatest fan of your life

Rain falls angry on the tin roof
As we lie awake in my bed
You're my survival, you're my living proof
My love is alive not dead
Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache, that hang from above

(Chorus)

I've been dropped out, burned up, fought my way back from the dead
Tuned in, turned on, Remembered the things that you said

(Chorus)

I will play the song in the background if he needs a little help, and there will be pictures, if only for our private album. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Oh, thank you. I always wondered what the words in that song were. Now I know what it is about. I could only make out the "Rain falls angry on the tin roof, as blah blah blah blah . . ."

My H teases me because not knowing the words does NOT stop me from singing the song.

I don't know about the topic of your thread, though. We'll let older, wiser ones come on and tell us.

Spider,

I think this song is the most romantic, beautiful song I have ever heard. My daughter asked me to download it and now I can't quit playing it.

Well I been thinking the thong is probably too much to ask for, but I am going to ask for the song. He has pretty much been kissing my behind every since my Plan B, so I think now is the time to get him to sing to me.

Well I just got off of the phone with him, and he said he will sing whatever song I want as long as I print the words out and play the song in the background.

Now this is coming from a guy that used to laugh at all my requests.

Plan B, I'm telling you. If they think that you can live without them it just makes them like putty in your hand. It works, I am living proof, (well so far so good).

I even gave him a list of my boundaries, one of which was I would not live with him without the sanctity of marriage. And I did tell him he was free to go to the bar whenever, but that that would free me up to do "whatever" too. So far, he has not gone to the bar.

If you believe in yourself, that you deserve the best, you will get the best!

So all you in Plan A, do your Plan a without fault. Make yourself too irresistable to resist and then if you are forced into Plan B, they will not be able to resist you.

Believe me, if it can work for me, the worlds biggest pushover, it can work for you!

Dear world's biggest pushover, this thread alone with the thoughts and the gesture you are about to put your SO up to, just proves to me that BFE really does exist and you really do live there.

Nobody living in a real populated place would think of such things out of the boredom that comes with living in BFE.

On a serious note. I'm jumping up and down, doing cartwheels, squealing with delight with tears down my face happy for you.

You are absolutely one of my most favorite MBers, and I could not be more thrilled with your progress. So for my sake, don't post any set backs, let me believe you are only happy. :)Oh crap, so much for the serious note. I always mess that up.

I'm a huge supporter of Plan A, and I think you said it perfectly above.

Love to you sweet ole Weaver. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Are you and Dr. Phil from the same town???

You both speak in such irresistable little . . . nuggets of wonderfulness, even if you were insulting the CRAP out of me, I would still be smiling!

I LOVE it when you and Weaver chat at each other. I have literally laughed out loud 2 times today with you two. Instead of coffee this time, I almost blew my beer onto the screen! Horrible! Waste! Of! Beer!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I have read it, time and time again, and I am a BELIEVER! Dr. Phil is a fraud. Steels Mel's material. I'll testify. Get me an affidavite (sp?) to sign! SOMEBODY!

My "pa" never told me anything like that. Of course, my mom finally stopped after H#5 died, thank HEAVENS, so I guess I will have to learn me my liquor stuffs from you, Texan.

Can a Texan teach an Idahoan much, do you think? Are we compatible?
