I missed that promo...darn! What was it about? What did they show? Did I look terrible? Can anyone who saw the "PROMO" tell us exactly what was shown? Was it mom AND dad...just mom and Dr. Phil...Was dad shown in the "PROMO" at all? Please throw us a line here! The OW is saying that dad made her out to be a [Bold]temptress[/Bold] in the "PREVIEWS"! I dont even remember mentioning the OW in the show except for when dad was talking about how he started the A and how he was in the frame of mind of wanting a Divorce. Can someone tell us what was shown? Thanks so much...btw, they just finished doing the second "pre-show" interview! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

Okay,
The promo showed both of you. The narration said, "The successful doctor" (picture of dad), The faithful wife (picture of mom), then "The mistress, his nurse who's pregnant! (blurred shot of a hospital). Dr Phil asks something, which I didn't hear...but then mom is saying "Well, I gained some weight" and Dr. Phil says "Well yeah! You were having three of his babies!" and he looks at dad. Cut to shot of dad looking REALLY uncomfortable but SAYS nothing.
That's what I saw as best as I can remember it.

Oh and before they cut to dad...seems like Dr. Phil added "That doesn't give you the RIGHT to...." (then shot of dad looking uncomfortable)

Maybe there's another promo...but I sure didn't see anything about her being a temptress! Looked mostly like dad was getting the "heat". Are y'all okay after the taping? Did it help? Or make things worse?

We aren't taking her calls. The producer told us about it. The producer talked to the OW at length this week and the things that the OW said <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> It's hard to say if these things help or make things worse right afterward. Today they just came out to our house and did the interview and a few reinactments. Today was hard as dad learned some things from OW that weren't true at all. She told a lot of lies. Also dad made a few comments during a few of the tapings that upset me. But, we will get past it. The OW wont go on the show. She says one thing then another. She claims to be the victim, yet wont go on and tell HER side of the story. ooooh, she is a piece of art! As far as dad's professional standpoint...not sure what will happen. I feel that the damage was done when he got involved with a nurse from his NH. Then got her pregnant on top of it. I look at it as if people are going to judge us for trying to make good out of an already horrible situation, then so be it. Also, I am glad that we have given them to have something to gossip about <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Well, I will watch.
Just try not to care what melodrama the OW is orchestrating. That's her psychodrama.
Hope you and your H find that this experience and exposure on Dr. Phil HELP immeasurably more than it hurts.
Go thru the choppy waters and hang onto the tree limb together!
