Ok, got one referral in from a friend:

Thomas Tuft
Thomas Tuft Law Offices
1590 White Bear Av N

St Paul, MN 55106
Phone: (651) 771-0050 / Fax: (651) 771-0850
tom@tuftlaw.com

I now have to add my lawyer-ly disclaimer- I can't guarantee the quality of the referral's legal work and have not personally used this attorney myself. However, my friend thought highly of him so might be worth contacting. Will post more as more come back.

I updated on the original thread...

I just would hate for you to be blindsided. Perhaps your H can change- I'm just really wondering how that is possible without intensive therapy and MC for the both of you.

I'm thinking of you- and praying for your family! I hope I don't sound overly pessimistic...I'm just feeling that way tonight.

I understand. I am not confidant myself. It is now Sunday Night, H has taken our Batman Beyond, Spiderman and Little Pumpkin out Trick or treating- wish I was out there with them but someone has to hand out the candy). The day went rather well. I took some of the things he said personally, but I would have to say this was a rather good day.. Hope it does not change too soon.

It never hurts to be prepared- and IMO if he has been abusive before- he will be again unless he has had some serious counciling and help.

Take care of yourself and your kids.
