Someone asked me what would I do if it happens again since I've been through more than one false recovery.

I've been doing a lot of research about As. For me, knowledge is power and has been a large part of my recovery. I've learned that it is typical for someone engaged in a LOVE AFFAIR type of A to make several attempts to get out of it. Also, I learned about the mistakes that I made in my marriage and the changes that I have needed to make as a person.

I'd like to think that it will not happen again because hourly, daily I work on myself and we work on our marriage. We work on protecting our marriage as recommended by MB--no secrets, honesty, no friendships with the opposite sex, etc. I work on myself, working out, eating right, working on my codependence, maintaining my boundaries, etc. I'm a fun person to be with!! I've learned that I can make it on my own without my FWH. I really believe that it would be his loss not to be with me. That has been the value of the PLANS for ME!

I really don't know what I would do if he does it again. My eyes are open now to the fact that it can happen so it would not be easy for him to do it deceitfully. I can live with the fact of knowing that I have done everything that I personallly can do to keep it from happening. I know that regardless of what the future holds that I WILL SURVIVE!!

Mimi,
You have a lot to offer.

I spend a lot of time at saveyourmarriagecentral.com, in particular I have volunteered to help promote Marriage Fidelity Day. I have a new name there....still sweet...

Penny(Cerri)is doing a lot of good work there, have you checked it out.

Would love to see you there!

Oh Mimi, we are so on the same page.

I could have written your post, you expressed it so well. Our experiences and where I am now sounds so very similar.
