That's the way I see it lately.
I don't post as often as I used to, but I do lurk ever so often....but lately. I just don't even want to think about this place.
Everybody is at each others throats over even the littlest things.
I've read all the posts that seemed to get everyone riled up....and while I can say that the words associated with them sickened me....I just took them with a grain of salt and chalked it up to the normal..........being on the www and conveying ones thoughts are hard to do through a keyboard and a monitor. Maybe what one said wasn't what one meant sort of thing.
It's all over the place now though....
It seems you can't go into a post that doesn't have some sort of bitterness between at least 2 posters.
I'm the first one to agree that EVERYONE has their own opinion and EVERYONE is entitled to voice it.....but why the bitterness in the words that are typed?
I just don't get it.

I agree, Miss Priss. This board is imploding under the weight of self righteousness.
You know, I've seen this happen before in a church. The "righteous" refused to acknowledge the very real pain of the "fallen". They deny them compassion in the name of "tough love"
The words "Building for sale" now occupy the sign of a once vibrant community of faith.
I have come to terms with my infidelity. I have forgiven myself. I got here with a lot of good counseling and some insight I got here.
I see a repeated request for a WS board and vehement opposition to such.
I've seen addiction and alcoholism analogies tossed out.
As far as I can tell, isn't it reformed alcoholics who typically sponsor other recovering alcoholics? Are tee-totalers invited to AA meetings to communicate the horrible truths of alcohol addiction? I'm not an alcoholic. I don't know.
Bottom line...if you aren't going to try and help someone, don't post to them. Go drive naked at 100mph through a school zone if you want an attention fix.
It's precisely because I don't tow the party line anymore that I don't post here very often. I'm not looking for correction and reproof anymore. I am willing to share my experiences if others would find them helpful, but I'm very careful about who I cast my pearls before these days.

Hey Low. I don't know if you remember posting to me in the beginning of my H's defogging. You, and 2oak, gave me invaluable insight into the way my H might have been looking at things at the time. I cannot tell you what a comfort that was to me, that in some strange way, he was "normal." I personally find great comfort that this whole thing is a process, gone through in stages.
I just wanted to tell you that you have touched many I'm sure, but definately myself, in a wonderful and healing way. Thank you!
