At this very minute, my baby boy made his very joyful (albeit loud) appearance into this world....

Sort of, but not really. He's been promised that he can choose wherever he wants eat tonight (we were thinking along the lines of MickeyDs), but his older sister reminded him of the Rat's Place (Chuck E Cheese). Remind ME to string her up and beat her like a pinata.....

I shared this with the Idiotians - the boy asked for those Spiderman Web Slinger gloves that shoot Silly String this morning (refer to Puss in Boots in Shrek 2 with the huge eyes as he's begging - they modeled Puss after my son <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> ). I tell him I didn't think that'd be a b-day gift to count on because Mommy doesn't want Silly String mess all over the house. His reply, "But MOM!!!!! It's not Silly String....it's WEBBING!!!!!!" Like THAT makes all the dif in the world.....

Remember Big Wheels? Remember tearing down the driveway at breakneck speed, then YYYYYYYYAAAAANNNNNNKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!! on the brake? That's what I call a b-day gift!!!!!! Driveway burn, but the spin out was smokin'! Maybe a Big Wheel and some really cool SpiderMan or Hulk bandaids (LOL).

(and no one wonders why my 15 year old has broken both legs in 2 months skateboarding....the 2nd leg was broken ONE week after the first one's cast came off - in my defense, I do provide helmets and padding.....thinking of giving ds #1 a year's supply of bubble wrap for Christmas....he leaves the house, we wrap him in bubblewrap....)

But I'm feeling schmaltzy and mommy-ish right now. I was CERTAIN that God would only give me boys, I'm just THAT kind of mom - I understand the booger jokes and the farty noises and almost always think they're funny - then when baby #2 came, she was a girl....and I BEGGED God to make my #3 another girl - Noel Esperanza was going to be her name (Christmas Hope - geez, that'd given my boy a complex, eh?)......

Tipping my hat to God...again dear Father, You knew best. Thanks be to You for my chocolate eyed boy with the dimples to fall into.....I know he's on loan from You, but please allow him continue to bless us!

awww...that's so sweet!

I thought I was the only one who sat looking at the clock waiting for the exact moment of my children's birth.

Birthday's are special for parents too because they get to remember that precious moment that they first welcomed their child into the world.

Of course, I choose to forget EVERYTHING else surrounding that event, but that moment is worth anything in this world.
