My dad has requested a song be played at his funeral...It is called "We'll meet again" by Liberachi. I have searched Kaaza, but I cant find it...I did find many more songs though that I am going to put together as a CD and play it in the background. Can anyone help me with this song? Thank you so much...it would mean sooooo much to my daddy! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

Hey there M23,
Sorry for this time you're going through.

Collin Raye's "Love, Me"

I think it's very appropriate.
Let me know if you have trouble finding it.

Oh Mom..I misread your post..I thought you were looking for music to play at Dadtothreeboys' funeral. I thought for a second, Dad has gone back to xow and Mom is planning his funeral!

Have you searched Liberace in Google? (I think that's the correct spelling) A local vintage record store could help you too. You also may want to call an easy listening radio station.

I will download that song right now BNJ...thank you!

OMG, betrayed...I know this song...for some reason when I first learned of the A, I used to listen to this song over and over again. I have it memorized. This is perfect. I also love the song

I'm already there by Lonestar...it fits my daddy's life so much. have you ever listened to it?

I am very sorry for your loss too, Momto3boys.

I searched bearshare and couldn't find it either. But their were several versions of that song on bearshare from the smithsonian collection of WWII songs.

Perhaps one of those versions will do. I punched in the title of the song and they all came up that way.

M23,
I love that song, the first time I heard it was shortly before my mom passed. I remember it hurting deeply...but finding comfort there too.

If its the same song as I know and a version as performed by Liberace then I may be able to find a Mp3 for you.

The 'we'll meet again' I know of is sung by Dame Vera Lynn who used to sing it during WW2 and we play it whenever Aussies regiment is deployed.
So its been a traditon of the regiment since 1942.
Of course it makes you cry buckets but its not out of place is it. of course if I hear it while he is away I'm just like a big baby.
Let me have a look over the next day or so & I'll let you know.

I've got the original but not sure if it's what you were after

We'll Meet Again
words & music Ross Parker & Hughie Charles

We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
Keep smiling through, just the way you used to do
Till the blue skies chase the dark clouds far away
Now, won't you please say "Hello" to the folks that I know
Tell 'em it won't be long
'cause they'd be happy to know that when you saw me go
I was singing this song
We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
