I'm currently doing a lot of soul searching and I'm sure that some of you have already found some good references.

Care to point me in the right direction if you do?

Gen 30:3 Job 24:15 Proverbs 2:16,18,19 Proverbs 5:3-22 Proverbs 6:24-33

Gal 5:19

These are but a few...remember this that Jesus forgave the adulterous woman who was about to be stoned. He said that the one without sin should cast the first stone. While adultery is a horrible sin, as all of us are sinners, God patiently waits for us to come to Him in repentance. Jesus died for all of our sins-from the gossip to the adulterer to the murderer. While we see degrees, to Him sin is sin and it breaks His heart. I'm assuming (and you know what happens then) that you're involved in adultery or contemplating such, please know that it's a black hole that will eat at your soul. It will only destroy. Head God's Word and get out now. You won't regret it.

Miker - I understand the pain and the soul searching you are going through...it's a tough thing to go through while trying to balance the children and their "handling" of things.

Asking for Bible references is the very easy part, so I'm not going to go there yet. I would first like to know what you might be looking for in wanting those references.

I read through your previous posts and really didn't see much (if any) mention of God, so I'm curious as to what your motivation is for wanting biblical references.

The one comment I'd like to make right now is that I am confused about your sitation as it is right now. I read that you seemed to be pretty set on a divorce and not trying to end the affair and rebuild your marriage. Then I read perhaps some wavering. I know that prior to my wife's affair I was of the opinion (as was she) that if "you cheat on me I'm outta here!" Reality has a way of smashing you in the face and making you think instead of just react. So are you contemplating trying to save your marriage now?

God bless.

One of the main themes of the prophets is an analogy of God as a BS, lamenting his beloved WW.

He knows what we are going through, and he knows what to do. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
