I would love to go - I have never seen it. I won't be able to go this year though because I have to cook in prep for Thanksgiving.

You are right, it use to be more of a "outlaw" event. Now it's very popular. It has to be that lawmower drill team!

Yeah! You remember me. Babies are doing great. Jon is 6 now, will be 7 in Jan. He's still playing hockey and is one of the strongest players on the team. He got the first goal in our first game. He plays defense now because we really needed someone strong in defense. Paired with this other kid they are an awsome defense team.

My "baby" is 1 already. I had a little girl. She is the sweetest thing. She has changed everyone in our house for the better. Her name is Gabriella Ann (Ann was my mom's middle name). Gabriella seems to have a part of my mon in her too. She's gorgeous.

My mom passed away this past January. She died of lung cancer. It's been a rough year with that, but I'm doing as best as can be expected. My DH has been such a huge strength for me through all of this.

Marriage - AH!!! Couldn't be better. We are doing so wonderfully. As a matter of fact, we are redoing our downstairs this weekend. Yesterday DH and my dad installed our new chandelier in our dining room ($180 chandelier on sale for $41). Tomorrow we get new carpet installed, Sunday we pick up our new dining room set and Monday our living room furniture gets delivered. I'm so excited. We are going for a more elegant look and life. We wanted more for ourselves and the kids and we are making it happen. Most of the time the A seems like a thing of the past so far left in the past you can hardly see it. When it is visible it seems more me feeling badly about ever hurting him that way. DH is doing really well with it. Things are great on the homefront.

I hope you are doing well also. It's so good to "see" you.

My Mom died this March.. <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" /> I am so sorry for your loss as well.

However... life goes on....

I am so happy that your life has thrived after your A. I always knew you had it in you!

Not to mention, you are married to a PRINCE!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Love ya, Pep

Ah that I am. Such a great Prince he is.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I know life goes on, but it's hard at times, especially when you watch your kids grow and feel sad at how much she is missing here (I know she still is watching, but it's not the same). My mom was only 60 yrs. old. I told DH though that we will definately make it together because I know my mom, she would have never left if she didn't believe that.

I like coming back here now and then when I can so share my success and give others hope. Thanks so much for all you have offered me in the past. I don't know where I would be today without my husband and his love. You've been such a great friend. Thank you.

We have a Doo Dah parade pretty much every day 'round here - except when Congress isn't in session. And it costs a LOT!

My EARS were burning!

"It's pretty silly fun.... that's why I thought of 2Long."

I most definitely resemble that remark!

Never was much of a parader. Don't even go 2 the Rose Parade, even though it's less than 5 miles from the house.

I make up for the silliness here, though, doncha think? Or doncha?

Wow! Princess! I definitely remember you as well. Very glad 2 hear, yet again, that some of these sitches 2rn in2 happy marriages after all. It CAN be done!

Just got through giving a 2r 2 an old prof's students. Got back from WAT's part of the world last night and tried the train. Bad idea. After 10 or so, they don't run that often, and the wait at each transfer is like 20 minutes, and I had 3 of them. 2k me almost 2.5 hours 2 get home (about 30 miles).

Dulles had a security breach, where they cleared out the terminals and made us go through the security lines again. I'm TIRED.

Gonna work on the house all weekend. 'least that's a "comfy" tired.
