Hi. Just wanted to say Hi. In your postings I see a big change. I think you are finally "getting it". You are still telling it like it is, but your advice is much more tempered than at first.

I'm watching "The Critical Hour" - my favorite show on TV about trauma surgeons. Don't you have anyone to save today?

It is not easy but hopefully I am getting better. I still have soooo much trouble with a lot of the principles but am trying to keep those "non-marriage building thoughts to myself". Thank you for noticing my "new toned down" style. Perhaps, this will save me from being banned from here for a few more days at least.

I don't have anyone to "save" today or this week. I took a vacation from work (long overdue -have like 2 months in credited vacation pending).

You are doing just fine. I know that some of the stuff here seems very strange. When I first came here, I thought these people were crazy. But the program does work.

I'm done with my WH, but am glad that I did give it a good try.

lemonman..
I personally enjoy your posts...they make me think. I especially liked it when you called Dad on the boasting he made about his medical record. How boring it would be if we all had the same opinion and believed in only one way to skin a cat!

I basically agree with MB principals but they have to be tempered in each situation. Some people just get caught up in a bad situation and don't resist temptation. Those are the people that MB help most. Serial cheaters, personality disorders and substance abusers are not ones who can apply these principals.

I suspect you probably have the same sense of humor as I-extra dry with a twist of witty. If you tailor your posts to suit the masses, then who's really posting? YOU keep on posting. I enjoy your insight and point of view!

Well, I think everyone knows my true feelings on here, but perhaps my posts were causing more pain for people then helping them. I was worried that people thought I was posting just to be an a-hole or cause controversy, and that is not what I want.

In hindsight I am a little embarassed about my exchange with Dad23b on the "other thread". No matter what I think of that guy, he is someone's father and husband, and no matter what he does (did) they will love him and I should have respected that. As much crap and hurt as he has caused in this world, he brought three beautiful children into this world and for that he must at least be given some modicum of respect. I have since vowed not post anything else with regards to that matter (just broke that vow I guess )

I will still post with 2 X 4's (just not rail road tie's ). I like this board and it's posters -even those of you who hate me and hate my anti-MB stance at times. I have learned a lot on here. I think over the last month I have undergone a tremendouse healing with respect to my own situation. I have never posted my whole story yet, and this is something that I know I need to do. You guys have no idea how much better my life is than it was a few months ago. Maybe this is why I don't feel so angry when I post to people I disagree with anymore, I don't know. Rest assured, I will be myself here (untill I get banned, I guess ).

Lemon,

I have always wondered about your story, especially because of the anger you showed in your earlier posts. Anger is not an emotion of moving on, apathy is. I know you will do it(tell us your story) when you are ready.

Cymanca- Lemonman is healing, but it is taking some time. He is very early in this.

I know you are both surgeons, and can probably help each other. All of this stuff is very wearing.

Believer,

I know he is hurting and healing. It will take time for all of us. Luckily my specialty(I like to call it basic carpentry)is much lower stress than what lemon goes through, but stress none the less.

Hey Lemonman,

I enjoy your posts, and even the 2X4's. What is great about this site is a person can get SO many perspectives and confrontational posts can be as important as supportive ones.

Just Learning taught me a valuable lesson last year when some gals and I were on a male-bashing thread and pointed out, none to blandly, our DJ's and were not surprised our Ms were in trouble...Ugh, people came to my rescue, but he was right, and the many hints I had received in my life to "STOP IT" had not been as loud and clear as that one...I got it...finally.

Keep up the good work.
