Can anyone tell me why my husbands work cell phone bill would show his own cell # as the number called. What I mean is on the call detail list it actually shows his cell number and says incoming. Someone thought that might be a long distance call from a land line. Or is it some type of collect call or can he change something to make it show his number and not the real number that dialed him up? Any help would be appreciated. He uses cingular

I haven't used cingular in a really long time....but when I did it usually showed up when I checked my voicmail.
I don't think there is a way to mask a # that is called IN to the phone.

Hey,
I previously had a cingular phone...
It just means that somebody called him, rather than him calling them. The caller's number does not appear on the bill. Sorry, it only shows the numbers dialed out.

WWH I use verizon wireless with the same information. I learned that an incoming call to my WW cell phone showed up the same way. I was able to check by comparing my cell bill (maybe you might use a friends) to his bill. Basically if I called her cell number from my cell phone, her number was on my bill with date and time I called. On her bill, it showed my call incoming on the date and time I called, but it didn't show my cell number. Hope this helps.
