I live in florida and husband not working on marriage yet but one of the problems he has with
me is I have been at Home with baby since he was born. Miracle baby invetro, at 39 and hes 2 1/2
moneys been tight but we were ok. I could get a
job to make him happy, but lawyer says that it
could hurt child support amount and allimony if I
go back to work. Any advice, also husband says he wants hisson and I wont be the one to get him.

Hi confused04!
Sorry to hear about your situation.
My lawyer also suggested that I not go back to work quite yet. I have a part time job but will eventually have to go back full time.
As far as your husband getting your son....I highly doubt that. My STBX is telling me the same thing. It's just a threat. Are you and your husband still living together? If not and he's the one that left then that will work against him on getting his son. Hang in there and try not to let the things that he says to you bother you too much. They all say the same things out of guilt.
I quit my job in May to spend the summer with our son and my STBX is now blaming all of our problems on that. It's just an excuse. Don't buy into it. Being a full time mom is the hardest job in the world and I respect any woman who does that! You have been wokring...you are raising your child! Hang in there!

Hi TreeReich,

Sorry about the confusion with my previous post. You might have wondered, just what DID she mean by NM?

I usually read all of a person's post history first,if I don't know them, before posting myself and I had just posted a brief response to you that wasn't what I wanted to say afterall. After reading more about you,it was best just to let that one go.

Anyway,I am glad that you are in a good place about your decision. You sound strong and confident. What a nice change from all the pain and suffering isn't it?

Much luck to you and your son!

Thank you Octobergirl and faithinme.
It truly is much better feeling this way than having so much pain everyday. I can't believe how far I've come over the last few months. I can actually laugh and enjoy things in my life. I know me and my son will be ok and be happy. I really feel sorry for my STBX because he will be the one in the end that will regret all that he has done to us and will wish he could take it all back. I will be moved on and happy as can be!!!

Hi TreeReich....

I believe what you just posted is called a "self-fullfilling prophecy".

You will move on and be happy. Your son also. Your WH will be the one who cannot. He will be carrying this horrible, heavy baggage with him for life.

I am so glad for you and your son!

Thanks K!
Funny thing......I went by to get some stuff out of my STBX's car this morning and I opened the middle console and there was a picture of me. Also he has some things that I gave him in there. I also found a notebook in the back of his car that I had given him and it was opened to the page where I wrote "I love you". I was kinda confused! He didn't know I was going to be in the car. I just went by and got some of my CD's out. Strange. I can't imagine that OW likes seeing my picture in his car. What could this mean?
Either way I'm happy to be getting him out of my life.

Your experience reminds me of another MB poster.... her WS (let's call him Jethro) was and probably still is a jerk. As part of her plan to relieve some of the stress his A heaped upon her..... (the WS had at least 2 OWs, one he got prego and even tried to get his 3 year old to call her 'mommy', let's call her Twitchy). The BS put a collage of family pictures in the visor of his vehicle. What a nice surprise and a major attack on the A.

Well it didn't last long but long enough to give the BS the strength she needed to move forward. This BS is a knockout...... the OW looked like a phoney old model wanna be..... plastic parts and all. LOL!!!

Orchid...that was funny! Made me laugh! I just don't get it...why would he want pictures of me in his car if he is ready to get rid of me? Who knows and who cares....I'm so done with this man!!!!

Glad to bring a giggle to your day.... can't justify or find any logic in the WS' actions. So I don't try.... just report 'em as I seez or hearz 'em.
