I do not want to do anything illeagal and will not. I have come into possession of the om's ss#, place of employment, even some credit card #'s. Where is the best place to use this info to do research on this guy. Again I won't do anything illeagal but I want as much info as possible. He lives 4 hours away and I would like to know as much as possible on this guy my wife has gotten her self involved with. He seems to be frow a wilder side of life from what I can tell. Any websites or other ideas would be appreciated

"even some credit card #'s. Where is the best place to use this info"

At the mall, shopping for Christmas presents! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Seriously, it makes sense 2 know who he is and whether he has a W and family or not. Use that information 2 expose the A on his end 2 put pressure on it. And maybe, just maybe use it 2 confront him (via a letter, not in person) 2 let him know that he's damaging a family, if you have any indication that he might care about that (most don't).

You could also hire a PI 2 get this kind of information, or pay one of the online searches for info about him (I've not done that, and I don't know if it works or not).

Otherwise, I think only the place of employment info is of any real, legitimate use in this kind of si2ation.

Do an internet search for background checks. Check for criminal history. In some states, you can also check his driving record.

If you find anthing questionable, there are a number of other perfectly legal steps you can take but may not appear ethical or moral by some's standards........does the word audit give you an idea?
