I have been in a dilema for the past year. My partner and Ihave been in disagreement of where our relationship stands for the past year. I have fealt that there has been someone else. He has repaeatly told me no and denies any part of an extramarital affair. In the past year he has pulled away. There has been small ounces of proof. Waking up and him being extremely dressed more so than in the past year for no reason. It has all been circumstanstancial. There is no proof, proof. He is smart enough due to the fact that he is a network administrator. I have a mental block and cannot seem to get past the feeling that he has been unfaithful. When I decide to put it behind and start a new. Something comes up where it directly affects the present. I am at a loss and have no clue what to do from here. I am sure this is vague. So reply what else would help and we can go from there.

IQ level does not have as much impact on relationship building as many think. Get yourself into some good IC/MC support or even call Steve H @ MB. Reading His Needs/Her Needs c/b helpful.
You s/b cautious but not overly so. Hard line to walk when you can't see the road.
Let us know how you are doing.

See I was the one who had the affair in the first part of our relationship...We went to a relationship counselor...for private and couples for a year after. I am definately recovered, though a hard journey. We both gained a lot from the sessions and the relationship was definately in an upswing. We entered some tough times before last Christmas in which he internally dealt with some control issues from his parents that made him slip into depression. I let that go for about 2 months (even though repeated questions of "is everything okay" were answered as "yes" ) when we both broke down and finally talked I still never fealt one with him the same way. Still getting very defessive answers to my logical rightful questions as a partner. So relationship counseling has not seemed to positive since, he has missed the last 2 sessions which always seemed to be my fault...although I feel it had more to do with the first and last session we visited her after our year break from the first time she told him he had an enourmous amount of internal anger built up. Well maybe this adds a little.

Ok, but the recommendations I made in my previous post are still valid.
