On the subject of beer: Moose Drool Brown Ale I think a Moose is equal to a ram or goat, but the same brewer does have Scape Goat Pale Ale with a Mountain Goat.

Moose Drool, I've heard of. My friend Albany (from the P&C board) drinks that.
Anyone heard of Wicked B*stard Ale? It's got a devil on the front, so it ranks...very good...a little yeastie, but good.
Made a list to take to HEB, 2long. They've got a drop box for requests....hehe. Guess they'll be calling their suppliers...

I was hoping 2 try Moose Drool while in Wyoming a few weeks ago. Didn't get an oppor2nity, though.
I think you're thinking of Stone Brewing Co's "Arrogant [censored] Ale". It's good beer, brewed down south in Sandy Eggo.
I love this quote, among the disclaimers you have 2 read on their website before you can view the AB Ale page: "I am not a fizzy yellow beer drinking ninny here under false pretenses."
They also make "Double [censored] Ale" and "Ruination IPA", which I've tried.
It's a gargoyle, not a devil.

PS - They MADE me drive thru Shiner, Tx on my way to and from picking up ds for the holiday. The roads outside Cuero on the way to Gonzales were flooded out, so had to make the trip. As I passed by the Shiner Brewery, a ray of sunshine broke through the clouds down upon the bright, copper kettles in the windows. It was like, like, God smiling down upon the earth.... [Big Grin]
Kimmy, your cracking me up! Hey I just won a bid on the first 5 Firefox books. Yep that right I'll be whittlin and fiddlin like an Appalacian momma all winter.
Now for the beer talk -
YO 2long (I love that, that's the way Resilient talks you know)
Wyoming, Shymyoming! I once had a dark ale at a little micro brewery at Taquawaminon Falls in de yew pee, and it was like nothing I had ever tasted in my life. Pure heaven! Of course it might have had something to do with the 280 billion stairs I had to climb, and then the canoe I had to paddle over to the dang micro brewery in 85% weather. But man that sure was a good glass of beer!
Yep, that be my beer story. (I'm a wine drinker you know)
I been following you around MB for the last 30 mins 2long, in case you hadn't noticed. But I'm done now, got work to do.
So carry on!
Edited only to correct a few little gramatical inconsistencies. (sp) [ November 29, 2004, 06:06 PM: Message edited by: weaver ]

Oh Noodle! I liked Buffy...but I LOVED Angel!
I think you're right, 2long. I saved the bottle, cause I liked the artwork, but it's on the top shelf in my living room...I'm rather shortish.

I did, and almost lost my lunch. The ghost stories are a fave of mine...those are good for reading during OctOgre (October). Also, I LOVE the home remedies parts...oh, and the parts regarding cooking (of course).

Oh you poor mal! You live in hell don't you?
Me too, well atleast 8 months out of the year that is.
Actually I think my younger sister was born in Wyoming, can't remember the AFB though. My dad was real keen on telling us about where we were all conceived, unlike most kids who get to hear about where they were BORN. For instance I know I was concieved on the Trucky River in Reno, NV, Yep - know a few other things about that fateful occasion too
Noodle - all I can say to you is you are a strange one aren't ya? Is the show "de Grass" shown in the states? I'ld like to catch a show or two now.
Kimmy - No more kids for me and I can't wait to get those books. Thank you for turning me on to them.

Hey Noodle! DeGrassi? I have watched that since the adults were the kids in the original show. Yup, We Canucks do have some good shows. THere is one that Cold Case is based on that was filmed in my home town. Way more realistic. None of that people turning into their younger selves as the case is solved stuff.
My guilty pleasures: Food: Dutch Licorice. That is something that only Dutch and German folks would probably like. It is Salted. Yup. Have to acquire a taste for that. Satay. Hot and spicy with lots of peanut sauce. Mexican: Anything spicy TV shows: My all time favourite is Babylon 5. Others include Charmed, Tru Calling and Farscape. Drinks: Broken down golf carts, and Peach or Apricot Margaritas. Yum. COFFEE! COFFEE! COFFEE! I am addicted. Non-fat double strength capucinnos.
Gee, I could go on. Long winded as usual. Nice break from the drama.

I have even gone to coffee tasting "events" put on by starbucks. They are fantastic! You get to taste coffees from all around the world. Just like a wine tasting event. My idea of heaven....
Oh, sorry I zoned out - I was lost in that fantasy moment

Kimmy's shaking her head at all ya'll's weather.....the guy at HEB was b*tching this morning because it hit forty degress last night......lmao!
Weav - if you ever want to BORROW a kid, I seem to have a plethora of 'em. They hate chores, and they have smart mouths (I wonder where they got THAT??), but they are awfully cute and lovable.
Fightingalone - I LOVED the ending to Farscape. D'ya see that they have made movies out of the Earthsea books? Can't wait! And in Jan. - BATTLESTAR GALATICA!!!!!!! (drool)
Have you ever had Sex on the Beach? The drink, nimrods, no comments about sand chafing in tight spots... It's da bomb diggety. Best to drink it on hot, summer Austin nights while traipsing from bar to bar on 6th street! It's also incredibally fun to order...if you like people to stare at you.

Yes, I have had a lot of different shooters. Okay, Everyone cover your ears. Don't want to offend anyone's sensitive ears. Try ordering a blow-job. How can you say that without getting intersting comments? Great drink but depending on the comapny you are with... Well you get the picture.

OH DRU!!!!!!!
I love reading a book all night. I read Jurassic Park in one night, liked it so much I opened it back up and read it again that same night (I read very fast). There's nothing better than a chilly room, being in your nighty with the covers pulled up and only your head and enough fingers to hold you book up are out of them. You have hot tea and apples with peanut butter schmered on them on your bedside table, and the winter's wind is HOWLING outside, where it's pitch black. LOVE IT!
And Drucilla, I picked up a Cabbage Patch Doll the other day (for the kids...yeah...that's right...for the babies...hehe) and guess what her name was??? That's right! I thought of you immediately! She was a cute one!
