Lemonman - I have been reading your posts and you seem like you have changed so much. Or are you just trying to fit into the MB program?

It is all a combination I guess. A Metamorphes I guess (don't know if I spelled that one right, or if I even know what the hell it means ). I am just in such a better place in life now that my posts probably don't have so much venom and anger and "woe is me" in them. I think I got a bad rap early on and can't shake it (that is ok, some of it was deserved). I am not by any stretch of the imagination a MB "zealot", but I am starting to "get it" some. I really think my main problem early on here was that I couldn't understand the difference with what Harley says is Plan A and what so many people here do as "PLan A". I now see a HUGE difference. FaithfulCJ post in the Bear 04 thread really hit me and I am sitting here in my office with a big "AHHH HAAA" I see.

I spent some time away from the board and that was beneficial for me (and the board ). I **WAS** making a conscious effort to tone down the posts, etc.. but it doesn't seem to be such an "effort" anymore. Trust me, even though my 2 x 4 privlidges were "suspended"....LOL, the ache to get that thing cranking again still is there at times.....BUt I try and keep it "locked" up. Thank you for your post.

Lemonman - I love your posts. Please be yourself and don't tone them down. There is room on this board for all kinds of opinions.

Lemonman,

If you go and get too sweet on us we are going to have to start calling you 'lemonade man'.

A shot in the arm is sometimes what is needed when fighting a bug that just won't go away. A stead hand that helps you stay on your feet or a helping hand that helps one get on their feet is all offered here.

Someone took that 2x4 away from you? Shame.... wanna borrow mine?

take care,
L.

I'm just a plain old husband fighting for his Marriage and trying to find happiness in the wake of disater. I have found that your tactis on some of my posts have hit home and made me see what really had to change, and that was me.

So stop lying about having the 2X4 locked up, I have lumps to prove it's not ROFLMAO...

I appreciate your side of the coin it helps me look at the whole picture, please do not stop

I know you had an urge to give me a good 'ol 2x4. I am okay with that. I know I am making mistakes...

I have decided to get it posted by the weekend. I guess it is only fair that I also share here and I am gonna do it. I think that maybe it just took me to get to this point emotionally where I could get it on paper (or more like in the message board database).

Lemonmans story is simple..lets me give you the brief sitch.

Scene 1:

Mschluter walks up to ww and says hey honey It really hurt me that you called Om and I hope you can please stop or I will be forced to uhhhhh Tell you I love you and it hurts me when you call him.

Scene 2:

Lemonman walks up from behind you and wacks you with his mighty 2x4....

Scene 3: Mschluter wakes up and goes what the hell was I thinking.... and then sends Lemonman a post thanking him for his perspective on things..

lemonman,

As a doctor you often have to be the bearer of bad news. Being untruthful is counterproductive and sometimes the injury/disease is self inflicted or recovery depends on patient participation. Nobody wants you to stop being a good doctor chere, or expect you offer the spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down...but your "bedside manner" has defintely improved. Thanks doc.
