I'm all scheduled to go to the hospital tomorrow morning at 8:00 am to be induced. Kind of scary to think how much my life will change in the next 24 to 48 hours. Of course, for a change, this time for the better! Now of all times, I get a cold and was sick all weekend. Hopefully, I'll be feeling better by tomorrow morning. And lets hope they got the sex right and it's a girl, otherwise I have a ton of stuff to go back to the store!

Just wanted to let everyone know so they don't worry when I don't post for a while.

SS - Sleep? What's that?!?! Between the leg cramps, having to pee all the time, and being so uncomfortable, I am up at least once an hour. Plus now having a cold and not being able to breathe doesn't help. I would kill for two solid hours of sleep!

kloe,
You'll get some sleep tomorrow sweetie. Are you getting the epidural ?

Just think...tomorrow when they put that new little one in your arms for the first time...you'll feel absolutely incredible. Trust me. It's hard to explain, but you'll know what I'm talking about when it happens.

We'll be thinking of you !!!!

What are we naming the new little bundle of joy ?
Or is it a secret ?

Hi Kloe, I don't know if I've posted to you but I have followed your "story". I always felt for you because I was also pregnant when h was cheating (although I didn't find out til after). It is such a vulnerable time and you have really been a strong woman!!! Your little girl will be lucky to have you as her mom!

No matter what happens with your h, you will have your daughter and that is an amazing blessing. She will fill you with love and joy even at this low point in your life. Enjoy her, and be grateful for her. My youngest was a surprise, and having him to love has helped me so much.

Good luck and God Bless!!!

I'm going to hold off on deciding about the epidural until tomorrow, but I am not opposed to getting one. The nurse who taught our child birth class gave us some good reasons to hold off until you see what you can take. If you get it too early then you are stuck in bed and can't move around, plus it can slow down the whole process.

Assuming the doctors were right and its a girl her name will be Madison Eileen (Eileen was my grandmothers name, she passed away in January).

He moved back home last week and it has been nice having him around. He makes dinner every night AND does the dishes. Plus he has been helping out around the house and with all the animals (we have a small herd - 2 large dogs and 4 cats). We even went to dinner with my parents this weekend and that went well. I wouldn't say we are in recovery yet. He is staying in the guest room and we haven't had any R talk and no real affection. But we are spending time together which is a good start. He promised he would go to MC so after the holidays I am going to push for that and we'll see how it goes. Right now the focus from both of us has been getting ready for the baby.

You sound like my sister. Her coach also told her of the risk, and also warned of horrible headache afterward.

@ 4 - 5 cm...she opted for it. She was induced @ 9 AM. She didn't reach 4 - 5 until 6 PM. At that point, they gave her the epidural, her body completely relaxed, she fell into a very sound sleep, and the next thing you know, her eyes popped open, she knew something was happening, @ 7:00 PM...just one short hour later. I thought...no way... yes way...Donovan was born 20 minutes later with 3 short pushes.

You'll know what's right for you. I had natural...if they had epidurals in my time....I would have had 20 of them !! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

You will be GREAT either way!!!!

Somethings I can do without repeating over thank you very much.... lol

All the very very best Kloe.

Yes go for the blessed epidural - JMHO but there are too many people around who think the pain of birthing is 'joyous'...... it ain't after the first one as far as I am concerned !!!
I think the first thing I said to the Doc 2nd time around was 'GIVE ME DRUGS" lol

But little joke aside, the pain is not as bad as you hear for all of us. Everyone has different tolerance levels & if it hurts ask for relief dont be too brave about it. My third was very little at all right up until the caesar when they had to give me something.

So be firm and demand it if you need it but if not then thats great.
Just wait unil you have that little life in your arms, your heart will melt and you'll know what TOTAL love is. Your heart will just want to burst!!!

Kloe, your daughter (?) has an awesome mother, and it's just gravy, but she's going to have a super cool name.
