Hi Weaver,

I hope you are doing well as we inch into the Holiday.

I'm still at work - sometimes I wish I could get OT pay.

Missed a few days earlier this week, did I miss any of your posts?

I should probably go look, but the tiredness has hold of me.......think It's time to go home.

Nope, didn't miss anything from me.

Well after boxing day you will get a well deserved rest, I hope.

Are the stores in (BC is it?) open on Boxing Day? I live in a CDN border town so the merchants (and bars) really take advantage of Boxing Day.

It is 29 below here tonight, so I am staying in.

Having company tomorrow for dinner and I get my daughter for tomorrow (four months with each parent) so I am pretty excited about tomorrow.

Hope all is well with you SS. Now go home & get some rest for the holiday!

This is for my beautiful little girl, Paige.
I miss you honey and can't wait until you come back in March (for four months!)

And I Love You So
Perry Como

And I love you so
The people ask me how
How I've lived 'til now
I tell them I don't know

I guess they understand
How lonely life has been
But life began again
The day you took my hand

And yes I know, how lonely life can be
The shadows follow me
And the night won't set me free
But I don't let the evening get me down
Now that you're around me

And you love me too
Your thoughts are just for me
You set my spirit free
I'm happy that you do

The book of life is brief
And once a page is read
All but love is dead
That is my belief

And yes I know, how lonely life can be
The shadows follow me
And the night won't set me free
But I don't let the evening get me down
Now that you're around me

Merry Christmas, everybody1

This is dedicated to my DH!

Wild Thing
The Troggs

(written by Chip Taylor)

Wild thing
You make my heart sing
You make everything groovy
Wild thing

Wild thing, I think I love you
But I wanna know for sure
Come on and hold me tight
I love you

Wild thing
You make my heart sing
You make everything groovy
Wild thing

------ instrumental break ------

Wild thing, I think you move me
But I wanna know for sure
So c'mon and hold me tight
You move me

Wild thing
You make my heart sing
You make everything groovy
Wild thing

Wild thing
C'mon, c'mon, wild thing
Shake it, shake it, wild thing [fade]

Hey 2long,

If you had read "The Way of the Wizard" by Depac Chopra then you would know that you actually get younger every year, not older. Merlin says that us mortals have time backwards. Yep, we've got the whole time concept backwards, can you believe it? Here we thought we were born and then we die, but Merlin says we die at our mortal birth, and we are born when we die. And everything in between flows backwards as opposed to forward like we think.

Make sense? (well you kind of have to read the book)

But Bob Dylan does back it up in his "My Back Pages" song -

Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now

Well, that's my thought and threadjack for the day!

Weaver, I like that Como song, always have. There are so many good ones that don't get much air time any more.

Back to work today, but a good rest yesterday. Attended church, had a wonderful Christmas program, and visited my kids, both married, and those still at home. (The teens even stayed around to visit.)

Are the stores in (BC is it?) open on Boxing Day? I live in a CDN border town so the merchants (and bars) really take advantage of Boxing Day.

I once lived in Alberta, but now I am in the Desert Southwest. Almost no one here even knows what Boxing day is - except my brother and I. He lived in London England for a while.

It is 29 below here tonight, so I am staying in.

Agahhhh, I thought it was cold here because it is dropping down into the low 20's at night. I think back to My first winter in Edmonton and those 50 below nights. I DO NOT long for that weather again. I like 50 deg days and nignts around 25 much better.

Having company tomorrow for dinner and I get my daughter for tomorrow (four months with each parent) so I am pretty excited about tomorrow.
Does it seem more like Christmas now that she is back with you? Or was she just there for a day, then back to her Dad?

I hope you have a really good week.
