How do I know if my wife is involved in an exit affair or not?

An exit affair is one in which the WS is going to D regardless of whether or not there is an A, and they get involved with someone new before fully terminating the M and taking time to heal and grow.
You can't know if your W is in an exit affair.
Even if she says "My desire to D has nothing to do with OM, I'd have D'd you anyway" don't take it to heart. MANY WS say this, and then the M recovers.
