We are getting dumped on today, and I mean DUMPED ON! Did your governmental weather dept see this coming????? And when will it quit. Can you even see the lake effect snow on the radar?

We've had like 4 inches in the last three hours.

I have heard that there is something called 'snow' but not sure if you are just fooling with me??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

its a moderate night here in Western Australia at 86 but never ever had snow here!! Hale yes, rain yes, cyclones yes, just never snow.

AW,

You don't have snow in Australia? Come on, are you sure????

Well I suppose if you didn't have to get out and shovel it, or drive in it it could be fun. Used to love it when I wasn't alone and didn't have to do any of the work it involves, (well for about a month per year anyway).

86% sounds like heaven to me right now. You lucky girl you!

Hi Weaver, I'll answer for AW. They have snow in Australia but only in the east and it stays on the mountains just like it does here in NZ.

We have snow here but only in the south. In the North Island it stays on the mountains in one particular area and is wonderful skiing. We can drive from the city and be there in 4 hours.

Our summer so far hasn't been a summer. We had two very hot weeks then the weather turned to cr*p. I'm wearing a sweater today and our weather should be like your May/June right now. We usually swim on Christmas Day but if it stays like this we may have to turn on our heating.

Sounds wonderful there Jen. I saw the pictures you once posted on Iville, and have to say it would be like night and day to where I live.

Just came in from shoveling. Atleast I could feel it tightening up my stomach muscles a bit. So that is one good thing!

Once before I die Jen, I am going to pop in and visit you. I just have to go there one time. Maybe we can enjoy a nice beer and one of those skinny little cigars, eh?

Weaver, it's your gov't. weather dep't.

I don't know... if the winds over there are anything like what we've got in Mpls. I'm not surprised...

Our model's got it.

Radars get it. Not so well as they get rain, but the Marquette radar shows a pretty nice heap of white stuff falling right now.

I want it to be 86. I don't like this. The wind picked up my firewood cover and took it away this morning. I was watching a bird fly across my yard, and the wind gusted, and the bird went end over end.

Winter!
