Not to many of you might know my story but i'm wondering if It might be worth the investment to do a couple phone sessions with the Harleys. They are so expensive and I'm wondering anyone has seen a great result in there M from talking to one of them. The question is.. Should I make this investment or just keeping plugging away at Plan A and hope for the best or Involve Steve H and his wisdom. And can he save my Marriage? My story below....... http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=37;t=034526

Hi M, I can give you one opinion on your question. I think the prevailing opinion on the board is to get MC/IC of some sort with a pro-marriage counselor. If you can swing it to do MB, it is even better.
In my situation, I tried to do, it on my own with Plan A. I lasted for about two months. I entered into coaching with SH and have been working with him for the last six months. If I had not, I would not have lasted as long or felt as okay about myself. My ususual MO was to just walk away from failing relationships. So if can, when you can, consider phone coaching with MB. If I had a choice between a new car or coaching, I would take the coaching because of the lasting value and self-esteem value the experience brings. Material things would not bring the peace of mind that coaching has. There were many times that I was going to throw in the towel and SH walked me back from the edge, calmed me down, changed my perspective to try again. His coaching also had lasting value and helped me to handle situations when they happened. I would say...oh yeah, SH said this would happen...I know how to handle it without LBing.
SH and MB are great and it is worth the investment. Hope this helps. God bless you on your journey. ss

Michael, I had one session with Jennifer. She was very good, but it was not really worth it for me because my wife was gone and deep into her affair by then, and I felt I was doing okay with my plan, with the help of MB and lots of reading.
My session was, coincidentally, the day I was served. About 30 minutes after I was served.
If you can scrape together enough money to get your wife on the phone with Steve or Jennifer, it will be money well spent.

I think i'm going to place a call and see if I can set something up for one of them to talk with my ww and see if they can jolt some kind of hope into her heart.

Michael, H and I have coached with Steve and I would highly recommend it. I began talking to Steve when H was deep in the withdrawal. I wanted to throw in the towel and needed help in dealing with it. It wasn't long after that H also began talking to Steve. He understands infidelity so completely that he has a way of just explaining things. He totally gets what both a BS and WS are going through. He believes that there is a positive outcome after an A and so I would always feel more hopeful after talking to him.
We don't talk to him often enough because of the expense. However, I believe he has helped us. H and I have not started MC yet, but we are both in IC. I know that MC will be the next step we need to take in order to address the pre-A issues. Good Luck! CV

WH and I had our third session with SH this morning.
WH is in withdrawl right now. Pretty difficult to deal with his "poor me" attitude.....he thinks he is doing this for our children and our friends. I guess right now I don't figure into the equation.
It's definitely worth the money.....I have a dedicated credit card for this. Yeah, I know, credit. But how much is your M worth to you? That's the way I look at it.
Again, how much is your M worth to you?
