The saga continues and Christmas is coming. Last night, I picked up my oldest son from the airport. Finals are over and he's home for the holidays.

I think WH and I are in modified A/B plan. I hope the couch he's been sleeping on is comfortable because the message is loud and clear that he's not welcome while there is still contact with OW. However, I know he's struggling with the decision. While I'm firm, I'm also being nice. Thinking the Christmas thing. Telling him how nice it could be if he's here as husband and father. Affair must end for this to happen.

Cut to son: He is really mad. Apparently, his last phone conversation with his dad didn't go very well. Son also sent a flaming email. My son feel the anger and betrayal that we all feel.

Is it worth trying to get father and son to try and talk to each other? Or should I let them find their own ground?

Stay COMPLETELY out of this. Let your WH suffer the consequences of this actions. Let your son express his hurt.

I personally think you should let them work it out on their own. Your WH made a mistake and your son has every right to be angry at him. If your son never mends things with your WH..then I'm so sorry to say he deserves it! I don't mean to sound harsh but I just hate that WS's think they can do what they want and no one should be angry.

I wish you the best.
