Just wanted to put up the alert. Seems like we have had and may be having some visitors from TOW board(s).......
For those new to MB, this periodically happens for various reasons. What are some of the causes:
1. TOWs get bored and the drama queen in them makes them want to control more than their MM. If they can't affect the BS (this is good ) and they are loyal TOW posters, they hit boards like MB and others.
2. A MBer or more may go over to a TOW (initially out of curiousity) and be so horrified, they post. Not recommended but some do. If you can't handle the garbage that goes on like whining, crying, support for A stuff, Ows talk about losing their clothes, sex life, anger at the BS, drama queen stuff, etc. (they tend t/b are very unhappy OPs), then you have a recipe for a troll or a few trolls to come over here and try desparately to get attention and give 'their' side of the A story. It c/b helpful but more often it is hurtful. Visiting TOW boards is not recommended. You do so at your own risk.
3. Stray trolls who again are drama queens......feel it is their right to have an A....... most trolls like to stay in packs so this doesn't happen that often. Most of these come because they heard either the WS or BS are posting on MB. Eventually those kind either get with the 'program', clean up their lives and lose the OW title (no more A) and move forward or they leave. Maybe to join a TOW board.... Who knows.
Guess there c/b more reasons but this is just some of them......
So what to do when a troll comes strolling or steam rolling into this site? Well, it may be better NOT to post to them. Sometimes, we do.... most times we don't. Remember most of them are drama queens....attention and contention is what they live and breathe on. If you listen closely you may find them out in public whining about how much they hate the BS and sites such as these. LOL!!!
A few MBers here are quite good at spotting and dealing with these trolls. See until a troll gives the MODs reason to remove their thread, they are tolerated (to a degree). So if anyone does suspect a troll, you can notify the Mods whose links are at the top of each page. Then you have to leave it in their hands.
Not all who appear t/b trolls are trolls, sometimes they are very very hurt WS' or even BS'. Again it is important to give everyone a chance to either straighten up or get out. Kinda like executing a good plan A then plan B, eh?
Hope this helps. Don't let a troll attack on MB hurt you, that's the important piece. If you suspect your OP maybe lurking, let us know.

Thanks Orchid.
For me I am avoiding such threads like the plague, because all they do is upset.
I will never forget what happened last time, when Mel decided to take a break.

Yes Weaver, I understand. Trolls are not worth leaving MB for but we need to understand and respect each MBer when they do leave. I miss Mel also.
Just in my time, what I have seen is enough to write a book on. Isn't that awful????
Since I remember how other ones were affected, that is why I started this thread. Again, I am not saying NOT to post but if you do, becareful. Now that they like creating the drama and feed on the attention. Sometimes it takes a while to figure out if it is a troll or a very hurt WS or BS. But it usually doesn't take long.
Thanks for your support. It is appreciated.

Good thread Orchid!
(Maybe instead of referring to them as TOW boards, just make it more simple (if newbies don't know the acronym, such as me months ago):
FOG boards. That's really all they are. And if it ain't FOG, it's just plain and simple: CRUEL boards.)

Liny,
I didn't make the name for that board. TOW (the other woman) call themselves that with a disjointed sense of pride. Just referring to them by their own given name. There was a separate thread a while back about what else TOW could stand for but that's a whole 'nother story. LOL!!!

LINY or Orchid,
May I ask one of you a question about the posts this morning? I would prefer to do it on a safe board.
Thank you

Hi,
English is not my language. I wrote drama queen on my post because it is the way I feel when I'm confronted with a relationship problem and the first thing I do is to say it's over.
I read MB frecuently and I'm familiar with some concepts. I thought it could be a good idea to ask all of you if you had feel like me and how you had changed that "It's over" reaction.
I apologise if I used words incorrectly. I posted in General Questions because been weekend the other sections would have little movement. There is no Marriage builders in my language.

larousse,
Drama Queen is a term that has been long used to described OWs. You are not the 1st or the last. The fact that you were already on that line of thought just solidifies that fact.
Please keep posting. I hope you find this site helpful.
take care, L.

CIS...sure..but don't know how much info I can give: fitzirishcream@optonline.net. Orchid has been through a few of these troll attacks, so she may be more helpful in this. But I will certainly answer what I can!
