ARGH.....holidays are here! WH is to keep the boys on Sat. and Sun. nights, Since they are susposed to be here with me thru the week. (civil seperation, i moved out 2 streets over, 3 months ago). Well,,,he dropps them off at 9:30 am, while I'm catching up on sleep, doesnt call, doesn't explain, just pulls back out of the drive way. So I'm fixing breakfast, they are in a bad mood they want to come back here tonight instead of staying with him. But since he didn't like the babysitter that was here at 9pm to put the boys to bed with my current schedule i don't get home till 1am. So, he is dropping the boys off at 5:30am on his way to work. This upsets all 3 boys, they liked coming "home" and getting their stuff ready for school the next day. So....3 1/2 more weeks of this until i'm on dayshift! Which means I'm getting at most 3 hours of sleep a night, and if I lay down while my 6 yr old is here until he goes to k-garten (I lay down on the couch, he colors etc...i never go into a full sleep) he throws a fit!
I also have to run the older 2 boys to their IC 2 differnt days a week, 1 on thursdays, the other on fridays, my days off, takes 45 mins each way, he doesn't ever go, hasn't met their IC's, and doesnt' contribute anything !
He did "his" christmas shopping this weekend, he got a "babysitter" sat. night while I was working and went by his self - yeah right, he hates shopping i know he had company - OW. These gifts were to be from the both of us, gifts we agreed upon, he took her - he will not admit it, so I told him, they can open the gifts at his house, i will buy my own, i don't want anything OW bought with him in my house! So now he is giving me the cold shoulder again, holiday plans are up in the air, now when I get paid Thursday afternoon, I have to due my complete shopping for 3 boys, wrap, pay bills, go grocery shopping and have this done by friday at 4 in order for us to go to church! And pay a babysitter, because he "has things to do".
So, with all this going on, tonight I get home at 1 am, it's 10 below zero, and guess who locked herself out of the house? I'm an emergency dispatcher, so I had to drive all the way back in to work 1/2, admit to the guys what I did, I will never live it down, and they came out to my rented duplex and broke into my house for me in this weather! They litterly had to take the doors off the hinges, since my screw driver and hammer of course in locked inside, they used a pen, a mag flash light and a crow bar! so now its 4 in the morning, i just finally got the boys laundry in have to wait for it to dry, and they will be dropped in in an 1 1/2. ARGH.....
The lesson I learned today? I had to face up to my mistake (locking myself out) and their are others willing to stand out in the cold to help me out. Guess I will say my thank yous, and take some cookies into work tomorrow!! (if I don't fall asleep while baking them and burn them...lol)
