Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Where I like to fish, the wind is almost always from the east. Maybe that's why I don't catch as much as I think I should?

WAT
-------------
If we were meant to catch a fish with every cast, they'd call it "catching."

are you an idiot...
if so you are welcome..

I can only speak for myself...
I am not sure if WAT is an idiot..
he may be if he continues to fish when the wind is blowing from east though...

pep do you know where to get worms...
sometimes knowledge is power and knowing the right direction is better than having worms in your hand

I am such a wise idiot....

I am certain I act like an idiot from time to time, but I cannot admit to being an idiot as that would be name calling and considered verboten by some. I do not want to be censored.

But, back to worms, wondering if MBWs (moose brain worms) are good bait. If so, think of the usefulness it may be to take a WS fishing! I bet ark** can craft a sentence using MBWs, WSs, and bass-hole - but don't waste a beer.

I love fishing stories.... or is this more like just fishing babble. LOL!!!!

Ok got a short story for all who care.

I love to fish but H hates fishing.... last weekend, son and I go do a short survey type job... we stop at a nearby beach at the end of the day. The tide is out and there are small tidepools visible on the coral reef. I'm on my cell talking to my Aunt on the mainland telling her that I'm in her old hometown area and giving her the landmarks so she knew where I was.... anywho..... a few fee away I see a bunch of air bubbles coming from a very shallow tide pool. The fish that was caught in there was larger than the tide pool! It was only about 4" long and about 3" wide but for that little pond, that was one BIG FISH! So I find a small bag nearby and we take the poor guy and release him back into the ocean. He is stunded but he soon raises his flipper and gives a big 'mahalo', then swims back to see his family.

Howz that for one real fish story?!?!?! Oh yea, found another fish, little bit more skinny but almost as long stuck in another tidepool about 10 minutes later. We left that one there because we ran out of bags and he w/b safe until the tide rolled back in.

Aloha,
L.

No, I am sure it wasn't the humuhumunukunuku apuaa.

RE: This fish had a bigger mouth.

Now what always gets me is how one fish with such a smmaaaalllll mouth could get such one loooong name.

But I don't know what other kind it might be. It was almost as wide as it is long, gray with black stipes. The other one was more slender only about 2" wide and was reddish brown with a little bit black.

Guess it happens a lot here.....was fun for my son to experience.

You know it's the small things in life that make it fun.
