Hi RH .... unfortunately our NYE Disneyland plans have been cancelled due to rain...

We're going to stay home, stay dry ... and enjoy our family.

FF checking in. We are staying home tonight. Probably watch movies, eat popcorn and drink the sparkling cider. (yep we are dull but dry). Very rainy and cold here today. Sorry 'bout your plans Pep. I believe down under is about an hour or two into the NY.

Do you know which country celebrating NYE the earliest ? I think it should be about 15 more minutes.

Yep - they are already into the New Year. But who cares? We can start partying early. Anybody got quick and easy snacks?

believer,

Like FF mention, standard snack would be soda pop & pop corn. Anything else you have to bring it yourself.

You are right about Aussie, one of their time zone is GMT+8 ... HAPPY NYE for GMT+7 ... JAKARTA, BANGKOK and hope the NY would bring a better luck. 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

I have blockbuster card, I could exchange movies right after we finish .

** Happy New Year!!**

~O girl here to wish everyone a wonderful and safe evening.Peace, strength and good health to all in the new year~

I am going to be home with my girls and mom watching the ball come down in NY and giggle at all the sardines,uh,I mean people crammed in together in NY tonight and be glad I am not there. My WH did that 2 years ago and basically had to stand up for 7 hours straight,no bathroom break, could not go to get food, and couldn't budge for all the people there.Police wouldn't let you leave and then you had to fight your way home and there is supposed to be a million? people there tonight? Good luck to them. Not my idea of fun but I hope they will all be ok.

Cheers

Happy New year ! Our NYE will certainly be spent in bed early as we're jet lagged all to heck and need to SLEEP in SHEETS !!

Who designed coach seats in airplane so nobody over six years old can get comfortable to sleep in 'em ? Grrr !

Hullo RH and others,

Thought about goin to work tonight for some OT, as WW is with the children. Maybe I'll just stay in with a movie....2005 has GOT to be better than 2004.

No chance of rain here affecting anyones plans...it's a balmy -4 F and snowing. At least there's no mosquitoes!

Nice thread!

Happy New Year, everyone!!

I think we'll just be spending the night quietly, at home. H is still under the weather and our children were invited to parties! Wish we could be at a party tonight. Oh well...

Happy New Year's Eve! I'm going out for dinner with a special friend and plan to drink lots of wine (last year was my holiday with the kids so this year is a different focus...)!(And no, I am not driving and yes, probably embellishing a bit on the lots of wine part). But I can pretend I'm 20 again, right? Cheers to a better, more peaceful year!

Sunny here but cold. I'm taking my kids to the mall today to the cheapy portrait place for a photo of them. Maybe even the doggies too!

We still don't know exactly what we're doing here tonight but no word at all from WH. My college son flies out tomorrow early, so he promised to be with us tonight. (He and WD had a not especially pleasant lunch yesterday, so I guess that's his goodbye.) We're going to make a big dinner, put on music, maybe have a family poker party and try to have fun. DD wants a friend over but that means admitting that WH has moved out and we're (I'm) not quite ready for that yet.

Best of all, I saved back a big box of legal fireworks from the 4th of July. We'll have our own little show.

Happy New Year!

redhat,

Yup, that's what we're planning, although it's an unusual WARM 60 degrees here today!! We'll hang out and watch tv and then tune in to the countdown and toast the new year. It's GOT to be a better year than this year, right??

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! The support here has been unbelievable and I'm so grateful for having "met" you all!
