Yes you heard it I don't think anyone could have had a worse new years eve than I.....so the evening started out visiting friends and the party moved over to an adopted cousins house... I am chasing DS around as he is trying to get into EVERYTHING.....and finally he throws the mother of all tantrums....so bad we have to leave...and it's raining outside...-_-...joy event number one....yes I said event one.....so we go to my parents house....my dog and my parents dogs are tolerating each other....then my sisters kids come in swinging the garage door open and the main garage door is Open and My dog almost runs off....heart attack number 1....then my sisters dog comes in a gets ALL the other dogs rowdy and they gang up on my dog......-_-....we sudo get them under control....then my dog goes to play with the other dogs and my mothers female dog turns on ym dog and a fur flying fight occurs...my dog gets the last laugh as she didn't have a scratch on her but my moms dog got bit on the head...haha...OWNAGE....event number 2....yes only event number 2.....well during the fight as we were trying to seperate the crazed beasts....I had control of my dog but my mothers dog keep coming and came up behind me and scout....well she went for scout but got me instead in the back of my thigh...-_- event number 3.....so I drag my dog out to the garage to get her away from the angst calm her adrenalin and check her out.....I am so furious....I start crying.....everything had pushed me to that point....I had a crappy new year....the thought of how my husband was kissing someone else this year instead of me...was killing me....I finally took my son inside....my mother inspected my ripped jeans (my brand new freaking pair!) and cleaned the bite wound....I laid down with my son to get him to go to sleep took all of an hour.....finally I got up...pissed off...pride hurt....no make up...looking like death warmed over....went to the fridge and grabbed the first alcoholic beverage I could find....ate pizza had a few more drinks waited till that stupid ball dropped...then went in kissed my son and passed out.....I've never hated new years eve more than this year....this year is sooo gonna suck. [ January 02, 2005, 12:43 PM: Message edited by: surviving in his wake ]

The great thing about a New Years Eve like that is that things can only go up.

well one good thing...at least it gives me an excuse to go buy a new pair of jeans...and this time I get to buy them a size smaller....wh has been dreading his decision as he oogles everytime he comes over....you see his wifey has lost alot of weight and is looking absolutly gorgeous as he is stuck with a very ugly overweight OW.....or so I have been told by many people who have seen him with her...eh..*shrugs* his loss...not my fault he found the first insecure thing who would lie on her back and open her legs up in an attempt to make him feel better about himself.... [ January 03, 2005, 12:58 AM: Message edited by: surviving in his wake ]

This is why I always go to bed early on New Years Eve. Yes-it will get better-I think you should get two pairs of jeans and a couple of shirts to go with them. HUGS.

You probably need a tetanus shot, and maybe an antibiotic, Augmentin, for the bite.

and pep she didn't hardly break the skin....i know all these dogs they are under my care...they are very clean.... but it still hurts like a B*&%$....I think the denim softened the bite. At the expense of my jeans of course *glares evily*. [ January 03, 2005, 12:38 PM: Message edited by: surviving in his wake ]

If you get redness around the area, don't wait, go get care. Dog bites can be nasty.
Tetanus every 10 years... even small wounds can carry tetanus.
