Saw WW today to sign some docs to sell some real estate we have had on market. B4 she would sign she wanted assurance that there was no lawyer on my side, I told her what she wanted to hear.

My problem is that OM is slated to move out here next week, and I have to protect my kids.

So early next week she will likely learn that I have filed, and then she will be hit hard with reality, and the attorney info etc.

How is it that I feel like my making this move is certain death for my M???

P.S. I changed my name in here cause earlier was too easily identifiable if she lurks (chuck here)

Ya never know Chuck, this may be the crisis she needs to see the error of her ways.

Never think that protecting yourself and you family is the wrong thing to do. Your wife probably will be furious, but too bad. Plan A is not letting the WS destroy your future.

It seems like you have nothing to lose at this point. I would have done the same.

Good Luck

I will be called to the attorney's office to sign the filing. My idea is to call her on my cell from there, and ask her one last time if she is sure she really wants this, knowing what God says about D & A. If she answers that she is sure, then I will ask if she can promise me in the full site of God that OM will have NO contact with our kids. I'm certain she will refuse, if so then I will not have any remorse for the summons she will recieve shortly there-after.

Opinions?????

but I would also ask...(go figure)

If she agreed to not allow OM any contact with your children I doubt she'd live up to the promise.

Stand your ground. Alot of what we do during the aftermath and upheaval is about our hurt feelings, and our interests as mates, but when you take a stand to protect your children it's truly a noble act and you shouldn't feel guilty or harsh. You will one day look back on the decisions that you've made, please make decisions that fall in line with the type of person you aspire to be while at your best.

Good luck friend!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
