Today I'm playing along with the little reindeer games that my WH insists we play. He accused me of spending the night with someone this morning, when if he really thought about it, he knows me and knows I wouldn't do that. He proceeded to call me a little later, but just to talk to his coworker about his computer (I think there are computer stores for that, but whatever).
He called my daughter after school today, but didn't ask to talk to me.....I have decided that it's less that he doesn't want to talk to me, and more to punish me or to see if I'll talk to him. I'm not taking the bait.
I haven't called him all day, well with the exception of calling back about the computer thing...and I'm not gonna either. He's under the misconception that I will call if he doesn't and that it hurts my feelings when he doesn't call (It does but I don't let on).
The last several days the OW hasn't been at work, don't know what's going on with that...but she was there today, so that may be what I can attribute his change in temperature to be.
I'd like any advice I can get on how to play these little games bigger and better.

How can you play reindeer games in all that fog? I'm too honest to be good at some of these games. Sometimes the stuff that comes out of WH's mouth makes a want to ROFL. TRy reverse babble. That's always good. Try not to buy into his games. Spent the night with a guy?-No honey, you're the one who does things like that, not me. Ignore him.
Strange how you can almost always tell when they've been in contact with OW.

If you're going to play reindeer games in the fog....Rudolph has to be there...LOL!!!
I don't really like to reverse babble, my reason being....I'm an extremely sarcastic person, and my husband really never has appreciated that about me....so if I were to use reverse babble on him he would surely see that as my sarcasm again and be offended....but lemme tell you it's everything I can do not to.

I agree -- don't let him suck you up into these games. That's what he wants, because it will keep you off balance and let him feel like he is in control.
Like the other poster said, try reverse babble instead. Look for any thread by Orchid -- the link is in her sig line.
Next time he says something really stupid, like accusing you of sleeping with someone else, just bust out laughing. Walk out of the room and lock yourself in the bathroom, laughing all the way.
That's way better than trying to reason or argue with someone who's acting like this. My H once told me that he wasn't sure he could take me to his work dinners and such because "proper decorum has to be maintained." Honest to Ghod, that's what he said.
I was miserable and angry up to that point, but this just made me bust out laughing. I have never been anything but reserved and polite at such gatherings -- I don't drink and am somewhat shy with people I don't know -- while his favorite little tramps go to these things and get rip-roaring drunk, insult ME to my face, and bend over in front of my H every chance they get -- when they're not otherwise flirting openly with them and telling him filthy jokes.
Oh, that was one great laugh, I tell you what . . . these people do say the most ree-g*ddam-dikulous things . . . Mulan
