My husband works with the OP, she was the nanny for our 2 youngest sons before she was hired at his office (19 years old). The affair is exposed at home, but I want to expose her. She still lives with her parents. Any advice on exposing the A at their office and her family?? Of course, without making things worse for me.
Thanks

I don't have any experience in this department, but I would venture to say that it WILL be worse for you for a bit after you expose it, he'll most likely be very upset with you.
I don't have any concrete evidence of my WH's A yet, but I am going to tell everyone who'll listen, hell I may rent a billboard.

The MB plan is to expose, expose, expose. I would let her parents know, and also folks at the office. Your husband will be furious at first, they all are. But exposure is necessary to end the affair.

Do it. It will be worse for you because WH will blame you for everything. Like that's unusual.
If one of my kids was doing something like that, I'd like to know.

Yeah, I would like to know too. I have a 19 year old and I would shred her if she was doing this. A 19 year old is a child......it's very possible that her parents can influence her in this department. How old is your husband?
Hopefully I have taught all my girls to stay the hell away from other people's husbands....and if they haven't heeded the lesson, I hope the BS would call me, and I would definitely read the riot act to my child. My children know that I do not support their happiness at someone else's expense.

There's a thread that I wrote over on SYMC about intervention letters. They're not exactly the same, but it might give you some ideas. It's over there.

My husband is 37. I guess it's just a hard topic to start. She lives at home, so I run the risk of her intercepting the call. Once I get her mother on the line, I'm not sure how to open. I sure won't call her any names, but want her parents to know what she's doing.
Thank you for all your advice.

My WH is 30 and the OW was 22 when I found out. I called her parents and simply started the conversation out, "Hi, my name is FiM. I am calling concerning your daughter, OW. First, let me say that I'm really uncomfortable making this call and I want you to know I am doing it partly out of concern for your daughter. My husband is having an affair with your daughter. I have talked with your daughter and she is aware that he is both married and has three children. She says she is in love and doesn't care. I know that I would want the chance to counsel and help my daughters if they found themselves in such a relationship and after struggling with the idea of calling you, I decided you had a right to know, especially in light of her age."
Her mom and I actually had quite a lengthy discussion. I wasn't sure it had done any good (this was in August) until last week when my WH told me that on her visit home for Christmas, her parents told her she pretty much deserved any pain she got out of this for becoming involved with a married man.
I suggest letting them know. I'm glad I did.
