I'm SO sorry for posting that without getting absolute confirmation. I heard that news through the grapevine, and it was incorrect. My parents are in the hospital. My father is in ICU. Another couple who hit them last night, died. I'm heading to the hospital to check on them. I'll advise when I can. Sorry for upsetting everyone before confirming it. CC, I can NOT imagine the turmoil you're going through right now. Please please take care of yourself...your emotions must be undescribable. I can't even grasp what you must be going through. You and your folks are still in my thoughts and prayers, as are loved ones of the other couple.
I lost an aunt and uncle in a car accident, and I remember how difficult it was on my cousins and their kids. I still remember something my brother said at the funeral -- that when one spouse dies, the children are there to comfort the surviving spouse. But when both spouses die together, the children are left to mourn with one another as opposed to comforting someone else. Hard to explain, but when you see it, you get it. They were all just shattered.
