I'm not sure if you can help me but I have a question for you. Can you tell me why a man would have little to no ejaculate and at other times have a ton? Is this normal? Has not been normal in the past. Thanks.

DISALAIMER: I am not a urologist
My bias is that this is probably all normal. I doubt the varying amounts of ejaculate are pathological. There is probably a good reason for this....errr.. he may have "released" at other times you weren't aware of and his fuel level is lower..
If you are worried, please see a urologist who is more qualified than me to answer your question.

Thank you for the assurance. I am the wife of said person. My question is, if there is unfaithfulness, before we are together is it normal for the levels to be less when we are together? And could the levels be less even after no sf for several days without discharge of any kind? Hope this makes sense

It would seem logical, that if there were an obstruction in his male genitalia system, that it would progressively get worse, and you would not see varying amounts of ejaculate. Quite often, I would surmise that a man who has a lot of psychological turmoil (i.e the guilt one might expect if they were cheating on their wife and still having SF with her), that erectile difficulties might be an issue, but not levels of ejaculate. It is also possible that this may be related to his levels of excitement. In this I mean that he has built up an expected reaction (i.e strong ejaculation) with his mistress and with you it is less. THIS IS PURELY SPECULATION and I am not sure has any relevance. I know that for many men (myself included) that certain acts and situations will "bring on" more enhanced sexual climaxes.
I don't think you can draw any conclusions from this "ejaculate problem" and if there is any relation to infidelity. There may be more variables at play here. In conclusion, I don't think there is any medical rationale for this happening to him. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Wondering, A little female advice here, nothing medical. Have the two of you talked about this? I'm assuming it's noticable to him as well. One way to tell if he's been "playing" solo or otherwise is to be familiar with the "fullness" level of his "twins" (trying to be ladylike here,lol) both before AND after you've had SF. There will be changes, sometimes inperceptible, sometimes noticable but you should be able to feel them. You should keep track of the differences regardless of how many days it's been in between.
Do you suspect infidelity at all or is this (hopefully) just a concern to you? Reading on this site can scare the heck out of anyone and lead to mistaken conclusions sometimes so perhaps if you post your story, you mind can be put at ease or if you are in an infidelity situation you can recieve the support you need. Lemonman Thank you for your help on this. I am just surprised at the change that I have noticed. We have been together for 18 years and have never noticed this kind of difference. The deposit level can go from a lot to none. Just makes no sense to this old lady.
KnewBetter Thank you for your response. I have a gut feeling about infidelity. Behavioral changes and other things. Nothing concrete and unable to get anything concrete. Spouse works out of town a lot and for long periods of time. Things is without proof he can lie everything away. His behavior can convict him on circumstantial but he always makes me feel like I'm psycho or there's a problem with me. Just can't shake this gut feeling no matter how much I pray about it. I've just noticed that at times he seems to deposit a lot more than at other times. He says he doesn't notice and appears surprised when I say something. I wonder if sometimes he is faking an orgasm.

Wondering...since you're wondering here's something to give you ideas on how to confirm or deny an affair. The thread is pretty old but there are some good basic ideas you may be able to use. Men can fake orgasms, are you thinking the lack of ejaculate is the sign? Here's another tip: when you think he's about to come (everytime in your case), cup your hand around his "twins" (there's that word again, I'm cracking myself up) to see if they are tightly drawn up to his body. The more excited he is the higher and tighter they will be. They will relax and fall after an orgasm. Again this is based on my personal experience with men only, any men who can wiegh in here? Is this universal?

Hi, wondering.
Given that the following conditions are true;
1) The frequency of sex is mostly a constant 2) Your observation in the past of the amount of ejaculate is consistent. 3) conditions 1 and 2 above are met and your husband is not suffering from a recent medical condition;
then it is likely that he is expending, the conditionally missing amount, somewhere else.
All the best, Gimble

What I've noticed in myself, which I do not know if it is consistent with all males: After ejaculation, the "twins" as well defined earlier, are "tight". If no ejaculation has happened in a few days, they are "looser" and definitely gravity has some say so due to, presumably, the "amount" of liquid in the "twins."

Sometimes little sometimes a ton?
Let's eliminate a medical reason (retrograde ejaculation, when semen is ejaculated into the bladder rather than the urethra, see urologist), and not likely your H's case (it is not always little, right?)
I can think of three 'reasons':
- the intensity of the stimulation before his ejaculation (more intensive produces more fluid); related to this is - intensivity of his orgasm itself...
- the duration! Quicky gives a little, for he 'doesn't have the time to build' more seminal fluid (and opposite, a longer intercourse 'collects' it)
- ejaculation is consisted of semen and 'water' from organism; if the body is 'dry' - less semenal fluid, and vice versa...
Re: this issue vs. cheating? I wouldn't rely on this, but on my guts, and - the way he kisses you, the way he makes love to you (any changes? new 'positions'? new look on his face during? new words in moments of ejaculation?)
