Heres my latest problem, not really A related but related to the situation in a way. My H used to be very disrepectful to me out of his anger issues about 4 years ago. but we worked through that and he had overcome all of that, ( what i used to do when he'd get disrepsctful : name calleing etc i would take my daughter and we'd go to the park etc and eventually he curved his beahavior and the way he treated me was great until the A) so once the A started he started with this anger thing towards me again. its not that he is angry at me it is that he has a short temper and he takes that anger out on me even when hes fustrated with work or kids or even grocery shopping i getthe brunt of his anger. and the usuall way this occurs now is not name calling or anythign like that but him HANGING UP on me. so for the longest time when he did it i've been calling back and then we getin a cycle of him hanging up on me and me calling back which equals LB's and a big arguement. so the past 2 times he has done this i have tried a new stratgy. lastweek he got upset because i called to ask him what he wanted me to pick him up for dinner , he was working and me and the kids go out to eat every sat at my moms resetruant , always bring him home something. he says nothing. i said have you eaten today? he said NO and got made i said why are you angry ? he hung up on me. i just went to dinner, i didnt get him anything when he got home he acts fine but says did you get me anythign... well NO you said you didnt want anything... then today he wanted me to pick up something at the store they didnt have the right thing, so i callead him from the store right when i called the baby started fussin a little (not crying just fussin) he first tried to aruge that thdy did have it i said i'm looking righ there theere out. he said then what the heck are you standing around for with the baby crying like that , get out of the store (rudley!) i said What? he hung up... i just turend off the cell and went grocery shopping. i'm not calling him back at all. but not sure if this is the correct approach? of if someone has any ideas opionons etc? Thanks

Not calling him back when he hangs up and going on with your plans is a healthy solution. You don't feed into his anger by giving it attention.
You've changed your part in the "dance".
