I am new to this website and would welcome advice/comments from anyone willing to give it. Here is the scenario, I am 35 and a mother of three. About six years ago (just had a new baby) my husband began withdrawing. He was watching porn every night and I believe feeling very sexually frustrated with the birth of the baby. He is a very sexual person who requires sex daily. If he goes two or three days he begins to withdraw and become quiet. At this same time I went on a work offsite and at a party afterward had too much to drink and had a kissing episode with a co-worker. I knew the minute this happened that it was a terrible thing to do and that it was very wrong. I wasn't sure how do deal with this, and my approach was to have a friendship with this person. I felt that I needed to make some sense of the event and I thought this was the best course. Nothing else ever came out of this and I told my husband about the event. His reaction was one of great saddness, anger and disbelief. Occassionally he still asks if the children are his (he does not believe that kissing was the only act) I believe we were both dissatisfied with our relationship at the time, however there is no justifications for my actions. It has been six years since and we are struggling to overcome this. My husband still frequently views porn online and on tv and has a wondering eye for anyone with large breasts. This upsets me a lot yet I feel because of my actions in the past It is not justified for me to be upset. After the birth of our third baby my body changed a bit more and I believe this has sparked more interest in the porn etc. I am not sure how we can get over this hump. Anybody with similiar situation??? [ January 19, 2005, 03:30 PM: Message edited by: builder ]

Hi Builder,
Welcome to MB! I'm sorry that you find yourself here. First, I just wanted to let you know that it IS possible to rebuild your M...
Read up on the articles here on the web site and find a good, pro-marriage marriage counselor. IMHO, rebuilding your M is nearly impossible with out MC.
Let us know if you have any specific questions that we can help you with...
