Well, yesterday was my 15th wedding anniv. I thought for sure I would be a mess but instead I had a great day. I went with a friend to see "White Noise" in the afternoon and then took my son for dinner and ice cream last night. We had so much fun. We just sat and laughed and chatted about all kinds of stuff. I got to hear all about Pokemon and gameboy stuff. LOL!!! It was a nice mom and son night.
I was proud of myself....I didn't cry one time yesterday!
I knew my WH wouldn't even acknowledge our anniv. I have come to realize that he is sooooooo NOT the man I want to share my life with. I loved the non-alien but I think he's gone forever!
Anyway......I have my son and we had a wonderful time together. From now on Jan. 20th will be OUR day.

I'm glad you had a wonderful day with your son. I just had a great day at my kids' sports day - a tinge of sadness perhaps at WH's absence - but mostly it was a happy day.

They'll be many significant days coming up through the year - I hope you get through each one with the strength you found today. TT

Thank you TT. I wish the same for you.
I do think in time it will get easier and easier. I'm actually starting to look forward to the futurre. I'm scared but there has to be something good out there for me!

Hey TR:

Glad you made a huge positive out of a possible negative! I may do the same thing this March for what would've been my anniversary (#16). Making Jan. 20 your day with your S is a great idea and I hope you have 50 more just like this one.

By the way; how was "White Noise"?

FR...
You should make that day a special day with your kids...it really is nice. I had the best time with my son. He's my little angel.

Whit Noise was pretty good. I love scary movies. Can't wait to see Hide and Seek. Comes out next weekend. The scarier the better for me.
Going out with the girls tomorrow night....can't wait.

Trish I am proud of you. Really, a near stranger I may be but I am so very proud of you.

..I worried you might break 'cos you were so dreadfully smashed at the start but you are revealed to be a real tigress.

Your potty WH had a great life and chose to make it horrible. You were handed a horrible life and have chosen to make it happy.

You are a star: shine, Girl.

Just realised I've got my 15th Anniversary to look forward to in May. What one is that - not Silver, Ruby but what? Does anyone know?

Congrats on spending fun time with your son. You are raising him to be a fine young man. You s/b a proud mom. Your anniversary was the beginning of your M but today was the beginning of a new tradition to share with your son.

All the best,
L.
