Hello. My WH is in another state on business until next Saturday (two time zones away) and I'm very tempted to ask him today if the OW is A) with him now (he has a free weekend) or if she will be flying there before he returns here. I believe if I ask my H that he will give me an honest answer but if I don't ask, he will do his best to hide it if she is/will be there by acting normal when we talk. My gut tells me she is probably not there because my h is at a crossroads - doing some deep thinking this weekend and probably leaning toward "us." Then again, I have a strong feeling that the OW is pursuing him big time and would not think twice about surprising him - calling him after she was already en route there. I really want to know if he'll have contact with her this trip. Would you ask in my shoes?

I would ask him. If he told you the truth it would be refreshing (though difficult to deal with if they were meeting). Trying to communicate is important in rebuilding the relationship. If they are meeting, you have to steel yourself up for how you will handle the information. Whether you CAN handle it at this juncture. Time spent 'deep thinking' often involves thinking about OW too. Thinking, calling, seeing, etc. [ January 22, 2005, 10:34 AM: Message edited by: picklesaresour ]

I would ask but don't expect the truth. He will probably lie about it. Sorry! I always thought my WH was the most honest man alive...well...he proved me wrong!!! They are in a deep fog and can't be trusted. I wish you luck!!!

Call the front desk and ask to speak to Mrs. ______. See if she signed in as you. If you still have doubts, then call him.
