I was reading Caren's birthday thread and it reminded me of a thought I had the other day. Wouldn't it be nice to find cards at our local Hallmark store that really expressed the things we feel? What card would you be looking for? What sentiments would you send out?

Like a thank you card: Thanks for breaking my heart you lying sack of excrement.

Anniversary card: Remember the vows you made today?

Certainly, there must be card you haven't found but would like to send.

Congratulation on your 5th Marriage..

Wonder how long till this one finds out who you really are?

How long till you cheat on her?

Will you deny her sex too? Will you degrade her?
Will you mentally abuse her? Will you control her every move?

Congratulations on another disaster waiting to happen....Hope she rips your heart out like you did mine....

Hope you got a pre-nup this time..

I sent my WW/STBX a Christmas card and when I was looking I was thinking along the lines of what y'all have written. But of course that would defeat the purpose for which I was getting the card.

I ended up finding the most lame card possible, it didn't really say much. But I still love her (and always will, though the form of my love is changing) and so I certainly didn't want to send anything vengeful. Once the divorce gets finalized, I will cease all communication/gestures.

I will still pray for her, however. I even want her to be happy, which she doesn't understand because I don't want her to continue with OP in the fog fantasy.

I think most of us BS's struggle with wanting our WS's to be miserable, but of course it feels weird to pray for that. I finally realized that I should pray for godly sorrow, per II Corinthians chapter 7. She has expressed (at times) plenty of worldly sorrow (which leads only to death) but never any godly sorrow (which leads to repentance).

That is my prayer for my WW, who was the most beautiful woman ever to walk the face of the earth when I married her in 1999.
