I live in a semi-rural area near the Rockies and there's lots of little bitty towns. Last week, there was big news from one of these little burgs about 10 miles from my house.

Last Tuesday, the husband of the town clerk came to the town hall and punched the bejesus out of her boss, the town administrator. You guessed it. The clerk and her boss were having an affair. Apparently, nobody knew until BH came in swinging. Well, BH was arrested and charged with 3rd degree assault. OM was treated at the hospital for facial bruises and cuts.

On Friday, both the clerk and administrator resigned from their positions. By "choice" or because they violated town policy, I don't know. I do know that at least in this little town, infidelity is not being tolerated. Now it's front page news and 3 lives wrecked.
