Our MC asked me to give my WH a few things that I felt I had to have in order to feel OK with the present sich. (Which is Fence sitting while in his own apartment). I gave my WH two.
Start wearing the wedding ring again and see his Dr about AD's and sleep problems. I looked at these things as easy and tangible with not much emotional turmoil attached.
WH was somewhat defensive and immediately claimed that I was trying to contol him with these requests. I had also asked him if he still had the OW's #'s etc in his PC address book. He said "Yeah probably" I asked "Why, do you need them" He said "No, but its still there because you are telling me to get rid of them" Again he took this as me trying to control him. Is he right? Or don't I have right to ask my spouse to stop doing the things that hurt me? Since he refuses and digs his heels in even deeper at my requests, should I just throw my hands up and move on?
Everytime I think I am ready to cut the strings I turn into an emotional quivering idiot asking him to work with me to give our mariage back. He is clueless about what a divorce entails and how it would affect his life. Williard Harley's response to CarenMC seemed to be directed right at me. Maybe my WH needs to see how a D would change his life. But for the life of me I want to hang on to this emotionally devoid, passive-agressive individual.
