Great post topic.

No Diana was no saint. None of us are.

From what I now personally know about the effects of infidelity on the BS I now realize that her bizarre behavior ie the eating disorder, threats of suicide and other health issues were her way of dealing with the loss of self-esteem.

Infidelity is no fun for any of us regular Joes and Janes but can you imagine what it must have been like for Diana trapped in Kensington Palace with all of those paparatzi waiting for a sign of weakness or a drop of blood to fall into the water. We (BSs) all feel alienated and alone but hers must have been magnified a 1,000 fold.

Some of us get empathy from our in-laws. Do you think the old crow on the throne gave her any? I highly doubt it. I'm sure she got the "keep a stiff upper lip" speech. Must remain proper you know.

All of you have been way to kind on the alternative HRH meanings. The word I used the other night during the news cast was more definitive:

HRH = Her Royal 'ho'.

The more things change the more they remain the same. The English crown has been changing the law to suit their internal and external needs for hundreds of years.

cwmac -

I have deep sympathy for Diana. My boys (both of them) were born just a month before her boys. \

Much after her D-day, I had mine. Yep, I was completely crazy. Did all kind of weird things.

May God bless Diana and her boys.

Hopefully Prince Charles and Camel Bowels will get what they deserve.

I talked to some people about this... amazing how people are subjective...
I could exactly recognize who is faithful and pro-marriage (against this marriage), and who is prone to the other side ('they waited long enough')...
(I 'revailed' where are some people at my work today )

I can tell also that the "Today" show and "Good Morning America" are getting hard up for stories too when all they've been talking about are these two adulterers. Who gives a rip!!!! I don't know why I bother watching either one of these shows. It's like reading my town's newspaper--the Daily Dud.

I think the 2 stinkies deserve each other. I wonder if she will continue to leave her stinky undies in various parts of the palace.

Their romance survived exposure of an affair. It will be interesting to see if the romance survives marriage.
