Glad to hear that D returned safely.
I think with the type of person you are, your D has learned a great deal about you and what family really means in this short time.
I think your choice to proceed with the divorce is right. Selfish acts are one thing, but being selfish at this one moment in your family's life where things really mattered..... I don't see anyone ever changing enough from that kind of thought process.
