I was just wondering if it is best to start a new thread each time you ask a question / ask for advice or is it best to just add on to the ones you already have? Seems to me like people would have an easier time keeping up if it was kept all on the same thread. I have been starting a new one each time. Often times people don't know the "whole story" other than what I mention in the thread. That makes me think their answers might be different. You know what I mean? Dummy me. So, what is the proper MB etiquette? thanks

Good question, suzy - I keep going thru the same thought. I'd like to know a good answer to that etiquette, too....
Maybe a link to your main story, just so anyone interested can read up?
I've been wondering where you've been!

Hi David, thanks for the reply. I haven't posted much lately, but I have been keeping up with you! Your ex OW story floored me!! I am glad you got it straightened out. Whew!
Anyone want to comment on the proper MB etiquette? Start a new thread or keep adding to a previous one?

It's up to you. David made a good suggestion of putting the link. If you add that link to your sig line than there will always be a reference there. Then again some have been successful with keeping just one post.
Either will work, it is what you are comfortable with. The hard thing is if you start too many posts, it is hard to keep up.

as someone fairly new, the problem with keeping one thread, is, in my case, I don't follow the long threads, as it takes to long to get up to speed on what is happening, as the short ones keep me focused and is easier to see things I can relate to. so I think a new thread is better for me. The downfall is a person has to look harder to find threads they need to get through the day.
