L.I.T. --
I think your post hit the nail on the head. It's why you can forgive yourself for an A. You now realize that M has to work for both husband and wife and there is no excuse for an A. Given the same circumstances again, you would never do what you did.

I love your posts.

Thanks for checking in with me, and all your words, and 2x4's- well deserved. I am doing okay. I am struggleing with the new hours and having to take my kids to daycare- hearing them cry for me as I leave. I know that they are doing okay, and that the structure and enviorment is better for them. I know they are well watched, fed, played with etc. It is for the best. I am not likeing that I still feel like a single parent even when both parents are home. That most of the responsibility still lands square on my shoulders. In addition to all my Maritable issues my sister is threating to sue me for my neices fall down my stairs(while she was there as well) and she lost a tooth and she wants me to cover the bills because it happened in my home. My stress is high. I wish it was not. Oh I am also interviewing for a new job that if I get offered and accept would be a increase in pay.... another step on my plan.

KMEJ,

That post was all about YOU !

Cherished,

Thanks for the kind words....I don't know as though I have forgiven myself yet. But I do know that I am closer (after all, I did say 'yet' so I must have given myself permission to....someday! ) - I don't hate myself anylonger, and I am proud of who I am today. I hope I will get there one day.

Tonight I had a very nice evening at my friends house- our kids played we had dinner, and visited. H ended up getting off early and I did not run home, I stayed and had a nice time. I need to do that more often. I am having a pretty good day- aside from what is going on with my sister.

Thanks for the words of encouragement LIT- I did not get hit by a 2x4 and it felt rather good to post about what I was thinking and doing and not what my H is doing to drag me down.

Have a great day/night ya'll

Let me get this straight.

YOUR sister is threatening to sue YOU because HER daughter fell down YOUR stairs while SHE was present in YOUR house?

That's one of the most rediculous things I've read in a while. Your sister should be ashamed of herself.

I'd like to a be a fly on the courtroom wall for that hearing.

yes she wants her co-pays covered and the cost of a replacement tooth for her 2 year old daughter. I told her I wanted to sit down with her and her H and me and my H and discuss this like adults and she said
quote:
Thank you but no, I will just call your insurance and make a claim. I am not going to play this game with you.

all the while still asking me to watch the twins while she and her H go to a concert (I want to watch them as they are my angels, however not with the unknown around every corner). Now that this is underway I was instructed not to talk to her with out a lawyer present and not to watch her children. I love my niece and nephew- all this because we refused to pay for her unnessisary co-pays with out talking with her face to face first. I did not feel e-mail was an appropriate place to make decisions like that. She also said
quote:
Let us clarify something. DN2 did not JUST FALL. She was shoved down the stairs by DS4, who if you will remember landed on top of her and is the reason the her tooth is now gone. If DS4 did not nail her in the mouth with his head we would not be having this conversation. Yes I am asking you to take responsibility for what happened at your house at the hand of your son.

That is not what happened at all and she knows it. SHE was RUNNING up the stairs to give DS4 a Hug- HE was RUNNING down the stairs to give her a hug- they lost their balance as any 2 and 4 year old hugging mid stairs would; nothing more nothing mean- Simply two little kids excited to see one another and an accident happened. All I wanted was to sit down and discuss options and why she felt we were liable- other then it taking place in out home. She refuses, now I am stuck with this mess. I was told I can not talk with her or e-mail her any longer- it is so frustrateing- all this because I simply wanted to sit down and talk about it first. Any suggestions?

If I were you....I wouldn't want to talk to her after she blamed your son for something that was an accident on BOTH parts.

Your sister sounds like your H.

If it would have happened at school or somewhere else do you think she would be reacting in the same manner?

OR....does she just think that your a pushover and she can bully you into paying for something that you aren't entirely responsile for?

Actually.....the dentist will not likely give the 2 yr old a replacement tooth anyway. He will most likely put in a space maintainer to make sure that there is room for the permanent tooth to come in.

I think your sister is being very petty.

Does she blame every accident her daughter has on someone else?
