curious as to whether or not you ever went out with any of the folks from eharmony and if so, how it went. Would you do it again?

I was very impressed with eharmony. The initial "test" when I joined took almost three hours and from that profile they matched me up with five guys who shared the same qualities/values I have.
Three of them I started communicating with through eharmony. All three seemed like great guys.
Two I really felt a connection with, started talking to one on the phone. Did meet him and he is a great guy.
But I decided I am not ready to date. It was just too soon for me. I want to be alone for awhile I guess.
I will use eharmony again if I ever decide I am really ready to date again.
If you look on their site, you will see the criteria they use to match you up. It's quite impressive really.
I like the fact that they find the potential dates for you and it is all very controlled through several rounds of guided communication. It's quite cool the way eharmony has it set up.

weaver....it is so awesome to see you taking your time, even though you met someone you felt like you had a connection with!!
I did set up a profile on eharmony.com awhile ago, but I'm separated, not divorced, so they would not put me in the program--glad of that now, but at the time I thought I should be dating.
'Course, my h put a profile on there and must've just said he was divorced <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
But I'd like to keep that site as an option in the future and it's good to know most people feel highly about it.
This February marks two years since the affair for me. Been separated for 8 months now. I'm not sure I'm going to be waiting all that long once my divorce hits before I start to date.
